Yes, but why? It looked like an intense, battle every inch, arm wrestle kind of game. Both teams were fit and fast enough to close down any free players very rapidly. Pretty intimidating and I wonder how Crows will go against that kind of game this year.

Bad. Crows will go bad in that kind of game.

Seems to be a style Crows deliberately try to avoid playing. Yesterday showed it again where as soon as we got the ball to a free outside player in a contest, kicking it on was the first aim. Works well for a fast moving game when we're kicking well (like 2017) but when we're off a bit, the ball usually ends up in a turnover and comes right back.

It was scary watching the dominant teams in 2016 like WB, GWS, Sydney that were all playing the contested run and carry game. Wonder if we'll ever try to play that style of game.

Not surprised to see Gold Coast beating St Kilda.

s**t teams can often beat other s**t teams if they are passionate and it looks like GC have a good mix of triers and young talent. Not enough to beat the big guys but enough to hunt and scrag at the crap teams.

Also think they have a good coach which is something neither Carlton nor St Kilda have
