Time to go SMarsh. MMarsh should be recalled though. Missed his bowling first innings. Why bring in Lasagna if you're not going to bowl him.

Mitch Marsh shouldn’t play for Australia again unless he can justify his spot as a batsman which let’s face it will never happen.

How many all rounders do India have?

The lack of what is effectively a 130km/hr bowling machine (accurate but nothing to trouble the batsman) in the attack is not the reason India made 600. Its probably a 500 wicket anyway - it’s just our batsmen are terrible. Indian bowling haven’t taken an Australian wicket today - Australia have played shite shots. The bowling is better than ours but the batsmen are getting themselves out because they aren’t good enough.

Mitch Marsh statistically shouldn’t be an automatic inclusion for WA - in reality he’s captain. He’s been given a free ride his whole career - time for this to stop.

The India commentator just made some pretty interesting comments. He said the BCCI actively keep kids away from T20, ie Warner style pleb cricket, as soon as they are identified as talented. The shortest form you play as a talented teenager in India is 50 over cricket. I guarantee we have Warner methodology front and centre at every clinic, training session etc. 'Come on boys, be a fake tough guy , be short, shout at everyone, and slap the ball around on roads'.

Despite watching exactly what Pujara did for eternity no one put it upon themselves to simply bat to survive on what is a worse road than Melbourne. Humiliating.

Remember when Australian bats men had to play Shield cricket and County cricket, score a s**t ton of runs consistently before being considered for selection, irrespective of age? We've gone away from what made us so successful and selecting based on short form cricket.

If you were and up and coming cricketer, why wouldn't you concentrate on the 20/20 game considering the money involved.
They need to give some incentive to concentrate on the longer forms.
