Zerrett and Dusty will be the.best cheap premo mids off the top of my head.

Not sure which breakout players there could be unless someone screams "pick me" in the preseason. I suck at picking them though.

700k players dont back it up that often.
Problem is if ur not picking Gawn and Grundy who do u pick? Probably best just to go Gawndy for set and forget.

I reckon Heeney would, still considered a Mid Forward in the player rankings and has been all year.

With NN dead, it seems like the only other options are pick Stef/Nank/Goldy and hope the Gawn and Grundy come back to earth, or pick a Preuss/Darcy type as a mid pricer if they look like being #1.
You could always go Kruezer, the two years before this one he only missed 2 games and was a top scorer, but that campaigner burnt my arseh*le out this year so he's on the never again list with Jacobs.

Not convinced Danger will get forward status. Sure he spends plenty of time down there but still primarily a mid.
Anybody got data on his Mid/Fwd split?
With so many expensive players will be interesting how lines shape up. 3/5/2/3 likely if you spend the big bucks on rucks/mids.

Started with Nank he is servicable but I think at his ceiling. I upgraded (lol) Nank to Krezuer during the byes and got 1 shit game and a qtr out of him so both of those are on my never again list, chilling with jacobs who has been there for 2 years now.

Watching Lycett and Darcy closely for the rest of the year but haven been unimpressed so far.

Stef and Goldy getting on in age so might slow down a bit too

Going to take less risks next season. All my value picks this year were absolute puss which meant i spent most of my trades fixing my team.

If the draft this year is as deep as they say it is, i think a pure Guns/ Rookie strategy is the way to go.

There's a few top midfielders in this years draft that i will consider but once again, finding the right bottom end rookies will be key.

But there will definitely be no:

Hibberd
Trac
Billings
Laaaambert
Big Sauce type picks

And lastly, Luke Parker as a forward? Thoughts?

This. The only issue will be the abiliy to complete a sqaud with enough playing rookies.

Yeah I don't reckon Nank will ever be a premo ruck, just can't get enough hitouts to match the scoring of the other Big Boyz.

Hadn't considered Lycett, but I think he's bit of a garbage truck even without NN playing.
Ryder is another one, are Port going to China again?

I've always tended to spend top dollar in the rucks anyway so I don't have to worry about that line ever, didn't work this year, but I'll stick to it and probably just cop the 1.4m cost in the rucks and look for a couple value picks on other lines.
