with Stanley and Abbott in front of him, its hard to see how he fits into the side.

Lloyd Meek will be the most popular R3, unless there is another rookie option that pops up in an hour or so

Stanley will start the year ahead of him but I reckon Fort could surprise people next year. One of our main weaknesses in the Ruck is the centre clearances / hitouts to advantage from centre bounces & stoppages and I feel like that’s a big strength of Fort’s.

While Stanley probably offers more around the ground we might say we prioritise what happens in the centre bounces & in stoppages over what they do around the ground in which case Fort could ahead of all of them being 205cm.

Definitely considering him at R3, if he plays in our JLT matches in the Ruck then lock him in.

Cant get rid of the Chol that easy...

You can't rub out a Chol that easily (takes 4 hands to start with)...

Life just wouldn't have been worth living, being Cholless for the 2019SC season....:'(

I for one welcome our Chol overlord.:eggplant:

Carlton 11 Sunday games, WB next with 10.

Not sure De Koning (CARL) will drop in price any further having played 2 games. If he's around the same and has DPP he'll be a good Loophole R3, otherwise Jordon Sweet (WB) will be in a lot of teams next year.

I'll never understand these rankings.

Port picked a kid that plays like Douglas/Wingard/Bont/Mundy with pick #78.

Which 3?

Its the offseason.
Im still drunk from the GF :drunk:

Cavarra - Dogs
Schultz + Bewley - Freo

Sam Sturt "plays like" Betts, Breust, Walker, and Darling.

Guy is gonna kick 100 goals, 40 of them from the pocket with banana kicks, 40 of them from big contested marks, and 20 of them goals of the year.

KK was relevant in his rookie year and also in his second when he averaged 89.4 (22 games) playing half back. Correct me if I'm mistaken but my recollection is that his SC scoring dried up in his 3rd year when he was moved to the wing, averaging only 69.0 from 19 games in that role. Too outside + turnover merchant IIRC. He might flourish as a wingman the second time around, but I believe he is better suited in defence.
Had the issues with concussion, also had a problem with irritable bowel and other bits and pieces, don't think it was tied to a role change, more just all of that adding up to a lack of continuity. But not 100% sure.

Here's some later rd draftee price predictions, first rd already covered.
If mature agers look like getting a crack early, will be in like Flynn, personally. High priced first year kids risky and tie up more funds.

Oh yes, I do remember he had mystery abdominal pain issues that year now that you mention it. Surprising that that and the concussion have held him back for 3 seasons though. I stand by him being a turnover merchant playing on the wing in 2015 though. Hopefully he finds the confidence he played with in 2014-15 again.

Don't think it explains it in full, but would be contributory. 2016 was the bowel issue (blocked bowel, had a couple of procedures etc., see article), 2017 he went well if you factor out the concussion-impacted games (admittedly, that's selective) until he got ruled out, 2018 I didn't follow him as much, just remember reading that they felt that they had identified the issue (neck) which they felt was behind guys concussion issues, and I guess with Brayshaw the Dees have had good experience in managing that.
Can see an argument for looking at him, probably leaning towards other options, personally.
