They will make the price awkward as **** and promote endless discussion on whether they are worth the price tag or not.

I dont expect Docherty to be cheap. But he will be discounted surely.

The real hard pre-season yakka is done by us SC's. The players have it easy in comparison. So many spreadsheets, I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I've had him all season. He gets arse r*ped by CD every week. There's often around a 20 point differential between his DT and SC scores which is surprising considering he is a good user of the football.

Sorry but they arent that complarable for mine because Sicily was a breakout player based of showing something late last year. Not that I started with Sicily either and still the flog got suspended twice and missed the last 6 through injury.

When was the last time Bennell even played a game? Its been more than 2 years hasnt it?

If plays 1 or 2 games this year he wont be at basement pricement.

He would... but as an owner he is so frustrating through no fault of his own. He will make a play that certain others would get 10+ points for and yet he'll get 3.

The thing I like most about him is that he stays in the game for 4 quarters and usually his second half is stronger than his first.

Maybe as a defender, his popularity will improve and CD might start to send some love his way for once.... KOTD style!

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that this is a hard and fast rule. Personally I want him to be fully priced.

I don't understand why you would want to make SC easier for the masses. SC has been dumbed down enough. Make it harder! @460k 99% of teams will start with him and he becomes irrelevant.

If we use Nic Nat as an example. He missed 2017 with an ACL and was priced in 2018 at a 20% discount based on a magic number of 5400 and his 2016 average.

I'd say Doc will get discounted but the % will depend on how challenging SC wants the game to be.

Risk works both ways.

20% discount puts Doc at 500k.

It'll be risky not to start him and watch him pump out 140s and pay +600k like I did in 2017

I get your point but i don't necessarily agree that it makes the game too easy. It's all swings and roundabouts...

Gawn and Grundy started this season at around the 500k mark. Next year they will be 650 - 700k. Titch will be more expensive while Danger and Dusty will be cheaper... there are more examples obviously.

Then throw in DPP changes as well...

NicNat is always a risk.

Speaking of GAJ he was priced at his 2017 average of 114.8 this year even though he only played 14 games last year. Why didn't he get at least 10% off?
