Just out of curiosity, how many of your original starting premos are still on your playing list now?

I started with 13 premos, 5 of which are gone (GAJ Sloane Fyfe Goldy Greene)

Laird Lloyd Shaw Dusty Neale Gawn Franklin Walters survived.

If we're talking about premo's as per Rd1 prices & 2017 averages then I only started with 8 premo's and 8 mid-pricers + 340k in the bank
8 Premo's (480k+) Laird, Mitchell, Dusty, Fyfe, Cripps, Kreuz, Gawn, Billings
8 Mid-pricers (240k-480k) Shaw, Sicily, Cogs, Walters, McLean, Devon, Dunkley, Christensen

Bolded 8 have survived.

Laird, Shaw, Sicily
Mitchell
, Dusty, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio
Kreuzer, Gawn
Billings, Walters, McLean, Devon, Dunkley, Christensen

In hindsight 50/50 calls of Shaw over Lloyd & Billings over Heeney hurt the most as I had plenty of cash left over and chopped and changed those 4 players quite a few times. In both cases I took the cheaper option.

I won't say Grundy over Kreuz as I never considered Grundy before Rd1, Although I did trade him in for Kreuz in Rd5

I picked Dunkley (296k) as a premo break-out contender as I thought after JLT that he would have a midfield role. Instead Bevo played him as a marking forward for the first part of the season so I ditched him early on. Belatedly Bevo saw sense and started playing him in the midfield and he's now scoring the way I expected him to when I picked him. Campaigner!

I wouldn't mind seeing an injury rule change for premos next year. If a premo player and only a premo player ($500k+? min) is injured and scores < 30, they're marked with a different coloured icon and if a bench emergency scores more than the injured premo, they're subbed on in their place. This would save on stupid unavoidable bullshit like JPK getting injured or Gray getting KOed from ruining your score for the round.
Your lowest tog% player should get the difference in tog% from your E on same line

eg
Gray scores 10 from 10% tog
Guelfi scores 60 from 80% tog
You get 80-10 = 70% of Guelfis score, added onto Grays score

Laird, Docherty, Whitfield*, Short/ZWilliams, rookies x 4
Mitchell, Cripps, Fyfe, Dusty, Zorko/JPK/Brayshaw/Sloane, Rocky/Hanners, rookies x 5
Gawn, Grundy (r/f rookie)
Danger*, Wingard/deGoey, Gresham/Dunkley/Taranto, Higgins/Ahern, ???(r/f) rookies x 3

If there are any changes to the game it should be reverting back to less trades.

Laird, Sicily, Doch
Danger, Fyfe, Cripps, TMitch, Dusty
Gawn, Grundy
Gray, Greene, Heeney

The cookies have been cut.
Dont forget to bake them first :poo:

I dont think it will be that clear cut next year after Gill and his cronies are finished ****ing up the game with rule changes

If they remove the nominating a ruck rule and lower the interchange cap straight away coaches will rest a ruck forward and make a Grigg take the ruck purely to save one rotation for a midfielder. Would definitely affect Grundy and Gawns output.

One of the greatest things about SC is dodging all the carnage and watching some other poor sucker cop it all, leading to delicious melts and puppies :thumbsu::D

But it's a case of "what goes around comes around" ain't it. As at some stage we all get our turn at being the poor sucker. ;)

Mitchell, Cripps, JKelly, Oliver, Fyfe + the same rookies as everyone else.

And you?
Some of those will STB for whatever reason. The ones we pay top $ for will cripple us. Would only start those I think have room in their scoring for (further) natural improvement, or are just so far ahead in terms of C scores that you must have them.

I wasn't being serious when I posted that (as in having all 5) I would think most teams would have a combination of 2-3 of those guys, especially if you're going down the set and forget Gawn & Grundy ruck line. I've locked in Titch, Cripps, 50/50 on Fyfe

Mitchell maybe a similar situation to the Dusty of 2017 ......incredible season, premium priced ...but can he backup back to back stellar seasons ?

So he's not a lock .........Cripps though, absolutely !

Dangerfield will depend on whether he gets DPP status ......he'd have to be a monty

Keep a STRONG lookout for Brad Crouch ..........he is a massive clearance / disposal accumulator ...rarely been fit ..could be huge in 2019

I can't see Titch's role changing at all. Injury the only think that will stop him from backing up. Maybe opposition teams start putting more work into him if he starts influencing games too much?

I'll prob still start with Danger even if he doesn't get DPP

Will BCrouch still be at Adelaide next year?

No chance of leaving .....just signed a new 4 year contract last season

I started with 15 premos and I'm surprised to see only 4 were replaced, with one being Sicily due to his recent season ending injury. The others to be replaced were Menegola, Goldy and Hibberd. Those who survived were Hurley, Savage, Danger, Fyfe, Crouch, Cripps, Titch, Gawn, McLean, Buddy and Walters. Of those, Crouch was traded out when injured but traded back in when fit again.

Who did you trade Goldy to?

I'd like to see an new rule implemented where whenever a campaigner from BF trades someone out then back in again Judd_Magic loses one trade :moustache:

Then we’d just mess around so Judd_Magic loses all his trades after 3 rounds :D
