I'm thinking;
Heeney - tried and true
Greene - hasn't burnt me yet
Billings - redemption arc while everyone else jumps ship to Gresham.

Fwds look like they'll be crap next year anyways, no Sicily, no McLean, Menegola? Were actually gonna have to pick KPFs, and none of them will even be swingmen, RIP.

If the proposed rule changes come into effect, it might benefit the KP forwards with the ball coming in quicker?

Probably, but I'd still rather pick 22 midfielders hahah.

Rough price guestimates

Gray 540k
Heeney 500k
Taranto 480k
Billings 420k
McLuggage 400k
RF Lobb? 380k
Rookie 123k
Rookie 117k
= $2,960,000

Almost 3m for forward line is about 700-800k too much, unless you plan on going light on in other lines?

I'm going to be looking at value mid-pricers in the 250-370k price bracket like JJK, Greene, Higgins, Ahern, Fisher, Florent, TWalker, Daniher, Himmelberg, Bonar

I wont necessarily start with all the ones I listed but it's a forward line that I would maybe like to have once my team is completed.

I will definitely start off with Heeney and Gray plus a R/F or Billings. Then probably 1 or 2 lowish price midpricers ($200,00-250,000) and a rookie at F6.

Lobb will get ruck/fwd for sure

If he has an injury-free preseason I'll look to start with him at F3-F5 (rookies/team structure depending), with a donut loophole ruck/fwd at R3

IF Tom Lynch ends up at a club who can kick the ball to his advantage and has an uninterrupted pre-season he could be worth considering.
Priced mid 70's
Surely would average 90+

Averaged 93 in 2016 when he won 6 games and had a percentage of 78.
In the 6 wins averaged 112.

Lynch averaged 113 in wins last year too

What would Tom Lynch's price roughly be next year?

Don't know how it works exactly.
He's average 78 this year, played less than 10 games so might get some kind of discount.
About 380-420k?

Tempting but have been burnt badly by him in the past.

I am looking at starting with a forward line like this -

Heeney, Gray, Dunkley, Lobb, rookie, rookie

Ah I don't know?
I don't hear all the media stuff up here and don't really seek it out.
I think he would be worth considering at either Collingwood, Hawthorn, probably less so Richmond

lol

Need him at St Kilda or some shit. Somewhere where he can kick 8 each week as the only goal kicker.

At Richmond he will only kick 2 or 3.
Pass
Bit difficult to kick 8 for a team where the ball doesn't get forward of the centre square very often.

Nah even teams that suck get 40 inside 50s these days. Plus Saints have lots of good ball uses and crumbers.
Lynch at full forward at Etihad, given space. He coykd be the next Lloyd except without the flopping
