Fair few with potential for low starting prices (and in some cases discounts based on injuries) and some potential breakout candidates mean there will hopefully be some ok value options:

Treloar
Sicily
Crouch
Merrett
Zorko
Harris Andrews
Witherden
Lycett
Billings
Milera
Langford
Lynch (GCS)
McLuggage
Greene
JJK
Kreuzer
Hannebery
Daniher
Hanley
Cockatoo
Libba

After looking at probable position changes. This is a rough expected highest 22 scoring players.

D) Lloyd, Laird, Sicily, Whitfield, Docherty, Williams

M) Mitchell, Macrae, Cripps, Fyfe, Kelly, Oliver, Neale, Treloar

R) Grundy, Gawn

F) Dangerfield, Martin, Gray, Franklin, Mcdonald, Greene

Picking breakout players only if I think they can match or surpass those players in their position

Danger and Dusty wont be forwards. CD are campaigners remember.
Also you forgot Yeo. Even as a MID only hes gonna be good for 115

I didn't think they would be either, but danger was made forward round 18 in fantasy. Assumed they both use champion data to decide on positions. And for dusty his heatmap looks midfield only but it is more forward than dangers so I included him too. I think they should be mids only. I agree Yeo could be placed in those top mids

Based on the last 6 weeks Dunkley would have to be in the forwards, assuming he gets DPP. I reckon Danger will get DPP but don't think Dusty will. Don't have any heat maps or stats to back that up but I reckon Danger has played forward more this year than Dusty.

Yeah Dusty just rested forward more the lazy campaigner

Out of the above list I am only interested in the bolded campaigners.

Maybe one of Greene or Lynch if they are cheap enough but you just know that those 2 campaigners will get injured or need to be upgraded.

Yeah, Treloar maybe for me, but would have to see all options first.
Greene / Lynch / JJK you'd have to see a flawless preseason to consider.
Kreuzer / Lycett issue is you probably want to go the two überpremos because if they're both on again you're bleeding points every week without one of them. Value will be there, though.

I wouldn't mind seeing an injury rule change for premos next year. If a premo player and only a premo player ($500k+? min) is injured and scores < 30, they're marked with a different coloured icon and if a bench emergency scores more than the injured premo, they're subbed on in their place. This would save on stupid unavoidable bullshit like JPK getting injured or Gray getting KOed from ruining your score for the round.

Yeah you should have the option to take your bench players score if someone on your field is injured in the first qtr. It's not fair at all to have to take 12 points from an injured player and have 60 points sitting on your bench. Emergency players are useless most of the time anyway so might as well make a change where your emergency players actually serve a purpose.

Jack Steele looking ready to explode next season.

If he gets through the off season scandal/injury free I’ll pick him
but he plays for St Kilda... burned too many times lol

I don't think I will be going near Taranto or McLuggage now as forward picks to start with next year.

Dunkley and Lobb (if F/R) are locks along with Heeney and Gray. Maybe punchable too if he has a good pre season.

Will try and start with 2 forward rookies though at F5 and F6 as I want to go Gawn and Grundy in the ruck plus Laird, Lloyd and Docherty up back and Mitchell, Macrae, Fyfe, Merrett and M.Crouch in the mids.

Patrick Dangerfield's role during the finals series will determine if he becomes a DPP in 2019. He's close based on current numbers. #SuperCoach #AFLFantasy

Here's something to ponder. There were 42 players that topped an average of 100 this year. Here's the list. I've excluded Sam Reid as he only played one game for 104. Using the same price calculation as this year, this should be somewhere close to starting prices next year for all of these players. I would expect it to be within a few hundred bucks anyway. If you were to pick all of the top 10 from this year it would set you back a cool $6.65m.

Unlikely then. Reckon he'll play exclusively in the guts for the one game they'll play.

What rubbish.

They know full well he will be on ball during finals. Reeks of a ruling just to avoid giving him DPP

Do finals SC scores impact on starting prices for next year? If not then neither should where they play in finals.

Spot on.

Nope.

I was hoping that Danger would be a mid only as I want him to be somewhat PODish, but I hate when they pull this different rules for different players crap.
