115 DPPs in total according to freako.
16 less than last year.
29 of those 115 are rookies.

Makes me think we won't be given any "free hit" M/F premos. Good.

True. But I only went through those taken in the main draft. There are of course heaps more mature ager's taken in the Rookie draft. TBH, I couldn't be bothered listing all of them.
Right. I misinterpreted “rookies” in your post.

Also a bit fixated on Wilkinson because I reckoned he fills a need for NM at small forward and is a sneaky chance to play a bit.

So first Preuss f***s us by not going to a side where he’ll be the No.1 Ruck so we can’t select him as a cheap R2 or an expensive R3 backup.

Now he f***s us again by taking points off Gawn too
Gawn will be playing forward with stints in the ruck.
dees trying to prolong his career and worried about his knees.
gawn would be a much better forward than preuss.
i asked gawn this about a month ago when he was pissed at my pub.
nice bloke.

Stay the feck away from our WA boys you kenties!!

You Geelong kents just love the WA talent don't yas, must be our good looks and splendid personality.:p:thumbsu:
We're humanitarians. Rescuing youngsters from a life in WA :p

I think from us Atkins could be a good option.
From VFL development squad to 23rd man to VFL Captain and now AFL listed.

Tackling machine, reigning B&F winner and was in the bests 14/20 games last season, one of the 6 was because he was knocked out too.
I think he'll get games.

Port have 10 DPPs

Tiges have 2 .

All other clubs are somewhere inbetween.
Looks like Dusty there's a very, very low chance that Dusty regains DPP.

Guessing that the two DPP Tiges are Edwards and Higgins, neither will be really relevant next year, unless you're playing draft.

Positions I expect from the dogs:

Suckling: DEF
Young: DEF
Wallis: FWD
Bontwmpelli: MID/FWD
Dunkley: MID/FWD
Hunter: MID
Trengove: RUC/DEF
Crozier: DEF
Wood: DEF
Macrae: MID
Cordy: DEF
Schache: FWD
McLean: MID
Boyd: FWD/RUC
Roberts: DEF
Webb: MID
Richards: DEF/FWD
Liber: MID
Gowers: FWD
Lipinski: FWD
Porter: MID
Dickson: FWD
Greene: FWD
Dale: FWD
Naughton: DEF
Williams: DEF
Daniel: MID/DEF
Lynch: DEF
Smith: DEF
Morris: DEF
Johannisen: DEF
Picken: FWD/MID
English: RUC
Jong: MID

Not too many relevant players. I’d expect everyone will have Liber and if he’s a forward, Bont. Macrae is a star but will be safer options at the price, like your Dangerfield and co.

Dunkley will be pretty popular if forward.

If forwards are bare as we think than Wallis will get a gig in a few teams. Crozier is the only defender I’d consider, wait and see if we actually play JJ as a defender this year.

The way Chris Scott uses late changes I try to avoid Geelong rookies. Tom Stewart and Fogarty have been great in recent years but I actually like enjoying my weekends, not having to worry about who this weeks late out will be.
