How many took Brody Grundy at the start of last year .....I know he was discussed heavily, but few took him ....therefore on the basis of one "breakout" season .....is he an automatic pick at this price ?

I'm going to wait and see with Grundy .....but Gawn will be first picked & don't care about Preuss

The question mark on Grundy was Cox and the impact he'd have, aside from that I don't remember any other issues picking him.

We now know Grundy can score with Cox in the team, whilst Gawn has the Preuss (and durability) question marks.

For $16k difference I think Grundy is the safer pick.

I think Goldy finished the year in good form, and 0 Preuss risk now.

I don't think you can start both Gawn and Grundy though, too much cash tied up.

If Darcy Fort plays round 1 you might get away with Grundy / Gawn and a cheaper R2 though.

Just checked Goldy; 101 average for the season with 110 average after the Bye.

Gawn / Grundy both averaged massive numbers; 127 (129 after the Bye) and 130 (137 after the Bye) respectively.

Hard call to make really, Preuss worries me about a Gawn role change to protect him, and Gawn seems to follow a full season with an injury prone one.

Clarke and Bellchambers won't play in the same side, if Bellchambers gets a LTI then Clarke would be a lock, otherwise I think Bellchambers is clear #1 ruck with Daniher / Stewart / McKernan all capable of playing minutes in there when Bellchambers (or Clarke) are resting.
