Grundy played with Cox in the side all year. Maxy is good up forward when pinch hitting. Preuss won’t affect his scoring too much.
Agree, Preuss hasn't deterred me at all from picking Gawn .....he was the first picked in my side

On the flip side, Grundy gets a lot of points from possessions around the ground, whereas Maxy relies more on his elite tapping and HOTAs. Plus Cox is more a fwd who can pinch hit, and Preuss is a ruckman first. He affected Goldy big time, and while Max is better, they are similar in that they rely more on hit outs than disposals.
It will depend on if Max can get a few more touches, Marks and goals to make up the points lost from hit outs.
If a Kreuzer or Mummy can average 95+ while Max goes 115+ you can make up that 20+ points difference with the 300-400k and then some by starting a Crouch/Merrett type over an expensive rookie (just as an example)
Not totally against starting Gawn, but not totally sold either. Especially if spending 1400k on two rucks compromises rest of the team too much

Have a Merry Christmas Everyone .....stay safe to play this great game in 2019 ;)

Averaged 92 as a pure forward, taking out his injury game and scored 80+ in 12/17 games. Could be worse options.
I have complete confidence i can find them!

Just copy the team of NSWCROW, easier to find then
Don’t luff. Crow has picked up his game over the last 2 years. He’s no longer the Carltank of BF SC.

GWS have picked up their game. Helps when he has 8 GWS players every year ;

Was told yesterday, very reliable club source .... Joe Danihers groins are still not good & he may struggle again in 2019
Been hearing the same thing. Not considering Joe in SC. Groins are a bastard and we will be taking every precaution with him. Doesn't make McKernan an option necessarily, as Joe didn't play after round 7 and he didn't score well enough in SC terms despite the opportunity to.
Maybe Zac Clarke gets a gig though.

That all hinges on the fact that the 700k player you have selected remains averaging the same for this season, which is highly unlikely. Take for example Jack Macrae. Increased his disposals by over 5 per game in a single season. Libba comes back in and grabs some clearances and more ball from midfield. He slips back to 110. Now you've lost cash, and average in points and you also have to cross your fingers and hope the rookie you're playing at M6 doesn't get dropped in round 2. A libba or similar could average 90+ and they are virtually guaranteed to play barring injury. So Libba and say Merrett could return you 200 points per week and cost 844k. Or you can grab Macrae and a rookie for up to 150k. The average rookie pumps out a solid 60 average which leaves you with 170 points per week.

Like everything its situational. IF you nail the rookies and IF the player your selection holds his point production you are right, however, the fact of the matter is that no one will know until the end of next season. But that is why SuperCoach is interesting.
tting the risks is important though. The chance of two midpricers averaging 10 above their price is greater than 1 player averaging 20 less than their price

Shaun McKernan F1 locked in.
Massive soft spot for Smacker. 400k a bit exxy even for the chosen one, though. No DPP because they know he'd be in 102% of sides if they gave it to him.
