Here are the price fluctuations and averages of players after a 120+ season

There were 5 last year, Grundy, Mitchell, Gawn, Macrae and Dangerfield.
Excluding these 5 there have been 27 120+ seasons.
In the following season:

4/27 (15%) suffered long term injury.

Of the remaining 23 players, all decreased in price before round 14
Only 4/23 (17%) became more expensive at any point before round 14.
15/23 (65%) will decrease $100,000+ at their cheapest before round 14.

7/23 (30%) remained over $600,000 for the entire first 14 rounds
13/23 (57%) were priced $500,000 to 600,000 at their cheapest before round 14.
3/23 (13%) became under $500,000 at their cheapest before round 14.

5/23 (22%) averaged 130+
12/23 (52%) averaged 120+
16/23 (70%) averaged 115+
21/23 (91%) averaged 110+
22/23 (96%) average 100+

Really interesting, good stuff and not easy to compile, good on you.
Price-wise, even at unaltered output you’d expect price decay based on the MN fluctuating vs starting MN, so probably makes sense to look at deviations above and beyond the expected rate with all being equal.
Blokes with highest starting prices should have the largest drops taken across the whole group just because they start out highest priced, I guess.
Averages in terms of points are really interesting :thumbsu:

Thoughts on this change kents?

I had J. Kelly at M3, Gresham/Parfitt at F3, Setterfield F4.

Traded J. Kelly down to Miles now at M5, Gresham/Parfitt up to Wingard, and Setterfield up to Tom J Lynch strengthening up the forwards.

Since then I’ve gone with Parfitt again instead of Tom J Lynch with the rest staying the same. Really like the look of my forward line having Parfitt at F4 instead of F3. Midfield still quite strong with Neale at M4, hopefully Miles gets good midfield time at the Suns because we know he’ll score well if he does.

Yeah im going light in the mids and real light in the rucks.
If lots of rookies show up i might change a bit but not too much. **** it.

I've had another poster also say this ....I can't see those options at all, it maybe because I haven't finished selecting a full side yet ....I'm missing a player, so it can't be opening those options up, until I complete a full side

Don't see this bit? Not picking a full side I agree is probably the most likely reason?

Nope .....probably is due to the fact I haven't picked my last player yet ....can you loan me $90K :moustache:

In that case, I really need Darcy Forte to play in R1 as my R3 .....that and I need Birchell to get up

So many what if's and $$$$ affecting my last players selection ......Oh and let's not forget my current M7 Bennell, his $$$ could help me, as will Gibbons
