I'm pretty confused as to how I'm meant to look at St Kilda options this year. Appears there are three players who are meant to improve (Billings, Gresham, Steele), with the first two due to more mid time...
But as far as I can tell they didn't have any departures from their midfield and they recruited Hanners.

Feels like somethings got to give here? I have the sneaking suspicion that Billings and Gresham's positions won't change that much and they'll just get slightly more time rotating through. Makes it really hard to pick them or even Steele.

F*** I wish Jarrod Berry was a MID/FWD. Or just a cheaper MID.
I know he’s not a small midfielder but just thinking of the Lions midfield got me thinking about it.

He's nearly tall enough to be a key forward. He's tempting me this year too, but probably won't be able to justify the risk.

This faster midfield prediction by Brisbane (and others) ......must also favor the mobile rucks, particularly those that are also tall enough to grab the ball from contests .....I'm not sure Goldy fits that mould

He is Fwd selectable and I'd consider the little champ, as you know he was running 14 kms a match,
our equal best to Gaff in only his first year.
But my fwds are locks this year, easiest line for me.

You don’t necessarily have to try for a (C) Loophole ..... it’s rare that all your rookies play, however it just depends on when those Non playing rookies play
Currently i have Wigg on my DEF bench .... realistically not expecting him to play much ...... but i’ll still check how many Sunday games he’ll play
