Draft was programmed by the work experience kid’s grandma’s third cousin’s hairdresser’s dog in between stints of getting on the meth.
It’s completely random and mad as a clown’s ****.
Customer support was genuinely grouse, though :thumbsu:

Haha good old JM. I remember him when I last posted a couple years back(When I last played SC). Word on the grapevine is he is still petitioning for the trade limit to be upped from 30 to 45

Clowns are very scary, especially this one.

Hawks had an intra club yesterday. SC relevant players that stood out were Jaeger, Sicily, Worpel, Scrimshaw + Luke Meadows. By all reports Meadows(The WAFL lad) was in everything and ran really hard. Hopefully gets picked up and gives us SCers another cheap option. Most promising thing to take out of the scratchy was that Hawthorn seemed to have all the play

Ever been faced with not being able to afford a player .... then you juggle a couple of players you think doesn’t change your team, yet suddenly the money is there for your player ..... it’s magic ! and i love it !

Of course - usually followed by a rethink on the impact of the juggle within a couple of days and a 3rd way is born....

rinse repeat until kickoff week 1 when in the 5 minutes beforehand I come up with a largely unthought team because a n other rookie who I’d never heard of gets selected.....oh the joys

Some notes from GC match sim

Miles, Hanley rested

Day and Wright played as tall forwards on opposite teams were manned by Hombsch and Collins respectively
Burgess played forward
King defended Lukosius
Corbett apparently had a sore knee for a few weeks - missed the match but reported to be ok for the Brisbane scratch match
Cal Ah Chee played forward and was clear best on ground -most Suns fans best 22 had Ah Chee as an emergency, other forwards in line for selection Wright, Day, ?Corbett, Martin, Sexton, Ainsworth, Rankine, Lukosius - the rookies might not get round 1 games..

Edit:
Add Macpherson who is very highly rated as one definitely in the mix for a forward line spot,
Aaron Young, Holman others although unlikely to be best 22 despite good years last year.

Wow Young had a very good year for Port two years back. Would expect him to be best 22

Not entirely sure whether trolling or not..
Last year was the second best year of his career behind that year at Port in 2016. Actually finished 7th in the best and fairest - says more about the suns than it does about Young though.
Pretty limited upside though given his complete lack of athleticism.
Maybe a coaches favourite so probably in the mix for games.. tough to be certain who the forward line is - think lukosius will have to bide his time.

Nah not trolling. I brought that campaigner in my team in the second half of his last year at Port and had him in draft last year for a bit.
He's a trier. I rate that in second tier players. He brings some experience and toughness to your forward line and he's not a completely slow plodder. Id have him in my starting 22 if I was Dew but then again I would've played Starlow on the ball every minute last year and gave my midfield half a chance of being fed the ball to influence the game but yeah Im not even half the coach Stewart Dew is. Figuratively and literally.
