Agreed there's more entertainment here. But I like reading and putting together stats into spreadsheets (so it looks like work) so both of those sources can be quite useful

Tooserious footywire fanfooty are your friends. Copy and paste the data into excel for all established players u are looking at.

Fantasy freako twitter will throw out decent rookie stats from their under 18s year but most of the time not worth the pixels they are written on because they are now playing against men and we dont know if they will play or what role they will play.

Watch em over the jlt as a guide but even that can be misleading ie Brayshaw last year etc

I probably should’ve posted it there yes, but this thread still works okay because it’s the planning thread and I no longer have any planning to do so I’m rubbing it in*

Bought prospectus yesterday. To be honest I`m not sure it's worth it.

So far it really is kinda cool for looking at stats and being a footy nerd, but for picking players it's of little value. As an example, because you only get a paragraph per player, any negative makes it seem really bad. Like how Matt Crouch has the third lowest goals of any top 40 disposal player since the start of 2016 - but didn't stop him averaging 111 in 2017 and similar in the back halves of 2016 (103.6 in his last 12 games) and 2018 (109.9 after the bye) when he hit full fitness.
