Draft 2 (1K remaining). A bit more consideration placed on rooks and ruck setup this time around. With slight changes made to both. Goddard, Constable and Corbett all place-holders 'til JLT starts. Adams could go to B. Crouch if he shows something/doesn't get injured up until Round 1.

Feel this is much more balanced and could possibly be the line-up I go in with (who am I kidding?).

Any reason not starting with Laird? I didnt last season and played catchup until i got him.

19, 22, 22, 21, 16, 22, 22, 21, 16

Daniel Hanneberys games played the last 9 seasons and going into his 10th. Had some hamstring awareness before Christmas but then you may as well cross out your Macraes and Crouchs of the world too. Priced at 58 and having never played less than 7 games (including his debut season)...I can't wait to back in Hanners for 2019

He's not there to stay. Give me some nice cash generation and I'll leapfrog over to perhaps his friend Sebastian ;)

On the topic of Dan Han

https://dreamteamtalk.com/2019/01/24/dan-hannebery-deck-of-dt-2019/

What injuries did Dan have last year?

Hips and groins?

Hes a tough one for me purely depends on JLT scores and how he looks

No doubt he starts wing and plays predominantly there but goes inside a little aswell.

He played predominantly wing when he went 108 and 110 aswell. Sydney always started JPK, Parker, Titch and Jack inside ahead of him

Wondering if anyone could possibly help? Using Safari on the phone and can’t access field view and don’t even had a header bar. Any suggestions what to do?
Use a laptop

AF is designed for laptops, all the apps and smaller devices are crap, always have and always will be

AFL have dropped the ball on this more than Phil Tufnell

75K more expensive than last season and Brodie Smith coming back makes a significant difference. Did the same thing too haha, so if he dominates in JLT, he'll be in.

Laird had back to back 138's with Smith back last season

Ok lets do it this way. My build rule is only pay full price for your captain (if you feel you must, I didnt. I am using Cripps)

FULL PRICE LIST (all my opinion): D Smith, T Kelly, Grundy, Witts, Yeo and Laird

Thats 6 spots i feel wont be gaining you any team value. Since you like Dangerfield as your captain, I would maybe move on from all 6 of them or MAYBE keep Grundy as sort of a switch-hitting captain when the matchup dictates. No problem with the actual players on that list (I like them all), I just feel maybe you could find some value PREMIUM picks and dump some of the mid pricers (keep Z Williams and Hannebery) like Fisher, Walsh, Thomas, Quaynor and you could add like 2 more NICE premium value players with the savings. Then you can watch those cheaper premiums grow into the same you would have originally paid for others and you will have even more cap to spend on fewer spots. Thats how i tackle it. I'm not into the whole mid-pricers thing, and i'm not totally into players Stars and Scrubs either. I think theres a middle ground
Some players are such good value that you cant go past them, but the game is about scoring points. I'll definitely be paying full price for some players ie Macrae, Grundy, Laird, Lloyd, Dangerfield

It would be good to verse some of you this season so i created a bigfooty league. E3CXU5JS

So keen! Haha.
Unless someone else wanted to I was going to set up the Bigfooty leagues thread tonight. Same as last year, divisions based on previous year rankings.

They score a lot of points, but if you look at them through the "bang for your buck" lens, they come out a wash mathematically. Lloyd and Dangerfield hold value, as I think their averages will rise AND they are rollers. Having said that I absolutely can see having Macrae OR Grundy (just 1) to be your captain.

I am still back and forth about starting with Danger or Heeney (currently Heeney). The only thing that worries me about Danger is getting used up forward again here and there (or maybe even frequently). I also went back and forth about Lloyd and Hurn, but with Hurn kicking the ball in so damn much it basically made it a coin flip for me

Nah, Smith was only back for Round 20 and 21. Laird scored 67 and 99 in those rounds. He scored his 138's in Round 22 and Round 23 once Smith was back out of the side. Definitely a significant difference
