Post what initial teams you guys whip together! Will be interesting to see who everyone sees value in. I feel like the value is in the defenders this season. Doch/Williams/Hanley/Birchall

6344D87F-CCBC-47E5-A1EE-E87897E56FE1.jpeg Something like this is what I think I’ll be watching closely over the preseason. Some good value in the defence due to injuries and if lynch moves to the Tigers I can see his scoring lifting considerably. Going to go a different approach next year and start with a stronger midfield than this year

Tried to just throw some random rookies in there that would be around the prices I will be looking at spending. Ranging from basement price to about 240,000

Let the fun begin,

DEF: Laird, Whitfield, Docherty, Bowes, Rookie, Rookie
MID: Macrae, Kelly, Brayshaw, M.Crouch, Steele, Rookie, Rookie, Rookie
RUC: Grundy, Pruess
FWD: Dangerfield, Dunkley, Taranto, Rook, Rook, Rook

Keeping a keen eye on GWS moves this off season, if they lose a gun mid Tarantos stocks rocket. Hoping Pruess makes the move someone to be #1 ruck.

Best strategy this year was for under priced mids - just had to pick the right ones.

I wonder if that will again be a winning strategy in 2019?
I think this is always the best strategy... just about picking the right ones :D
It's why the guns and rookies strategy works well - because although you can win big if you nail the midpricers, for every one you get right you invariably get a few wrong. Whereas rookies are generally easier to pick (or pick trade in at the right time quite easily).

Pfft.... Best strategy is to not pick any player in my starting lineup !!

Sheed averaging 95 in the 4 games with Gaff out. If any chance he gets to maintain a similar role next year - and especially if Gaff leaves - lock him in

Shuey should be a bigger lock than Sheed considering his injury score affected his average

Had a big start to last year before struggling a little after the byes, but still, them early points are crucial and can always upgrade him when the time comes
