What do you guys think of Hannebery as a midpricer?

My pick of the mid privets. Was 100% playing injured/uninterested last year. A new club will benefit him massively. Other than last year he’s been extremely durable, something neither Crouch or Libba offer. Has gone 105+ before, again something neither of those 2 offer. Is 90k cheaper than Crouch and just 40k more than Libba. Hanners is a lock for me. Priced at 60, think he goes 85-90 minimum

Not gonna say I picked this with Brad Crouch...but jeez...did he have to go and prove me right so quickly? Body just can't hack it. Tis a shame, as he's a good player when he's on.

Go
In an earlier post I referred to the performance of the highest priced players of 2018. In the list of all who averaged 100+ in 2017, only Mitchell, then Grundy about half way down and a few down the bottom can you find guys who justified their prices. Most fell dramatically. I looked at this list because I am really interested in some so-called 'fallen premiums' such as Martin, Merrett, Zorko, Adams, Sloane and an improving Steele.

Who knows who will outperform their price this year but if last season is anything to go by you can take a risk against the highest priced players.

good post

Interesting that 11 went over 110 compared to 5 in 2018

People over reacting on crouch i think

Club being conservative, he did it last Thurs, aiming to run by tomorrow and train next week.
If that pans out then no big deal

If he’s not training in 2-3 weeks then I’m off

While I agree with what you have said in isolation, this is a guy with a history of either not being able to manage full training loads, or the full impact of games.

He can play, he just doesn’t seem to cope with his body. Gumbleton and Tom Williams could also play, so could that poor bugger for Freo (Morabito), plus the Swans guy who was delisted last year (Johnson). Some guys are either unlucky or not genetically cut out for it sadly...

stupid question, where are you getting your teams salaries / DPP status info from? Only my 2nd year in AF and just used the official online one last year.

Are you making educated guesses at what you can afford?

through the DT Talk website, they have all the teams pricing and positions on that website.

what's everyones thoughts on Heeney, i think at F3/F4 its not a bad pick. But what's everyone else think
Im a fan of the heeeney pick although im not sure ill have him.

He is safe and has upside (by removing his concussion game and natural improvement.

I am pretty set on Danger, Dunkley and then Kelly at cheaper who I think is riskier but has same or better potential than heeney at a reduced cost.

Would love to find a way to have him though as I think he will be fairly unique and not a pick you'd regret

for sure, thats why I said 2-3 weeks would be worried if he hadn't just returned to the prior course and was still being held back at all.

I feel Crows are being extra careful to disclose injuries this year after copping flack in local media for keeping things secret last year.
Last pre season we heard nothing until games about to start when suddenly snippets of players missing long periods of PS came out. Then throughout the year accused of lying about expected recovery rates.

A week ago we had Doedee going for scans for a quad issue. He was back training the next day. Those little things would usually be not even bothered with being reported so im hoping Crouch is similar and one of those ones where a player would have a lighter load for a week with minimal report but the club knows because its him it would cause innuendo so better to get on the front foot (no pun intended)

Not a fan of this new look at all... The whole white screen thing is too bland and the field is too 'busy' and just looks dull all around. I think we'll all live, but this is a severe downgrade from last year. Looks like they hired an I.T. guy and just went 'hey, choose the basic theme, that'll do.' The inability to take a decent screenshot because of the larger field is a bit frustrating too. Didn't feel this way last year, despite a few gripes. Ah well.

Also, upon further inspection...What in the actual f*ck is with those Telstra logos? How obnoxious can you get??

I'm sure i'll get used to it but everything just seems... too big? Not a fan but hopefully it isn't the finished product yet.

Yeah, it seems too big and too monotone. Like it's unfinished. Hopefully they fix it, but given previous years, I'm not holding my breath haha. I'm actually just using the non-field option at the moment, as it feels a lot more friendly
