I don’t understand why 50/150/250 games is considered a milestone, should just celebrate 100 appearances IMO.
The same reason we celebrate 50s and 150s in cricket. They are hard to get to.

Every 50 games is at least 2.5 years, and most players don't make 50 in the first place.

is 350 possible for Mundy?

He's like a sheep, let him wander around, grazing with a few kicks as he wanders.

In seriousness, to get to 350, he will need to play at least 3 more years. Me thinks the Big Croat's games record. will be unchallenged for a very long time, …………………. maybe until we see Pav mk3.

The biggest and most memorable milestone is the first game, how many will debut this year. For me:
  • North
  • Bewley
I reckon that's it, not counting players recruited who have already played games.

Add in;
Valente
Sturt (mid to late season)
Schultz (mid to late season)

And the others that would need a few things (injuries) to fall their way;

Carter
(Wilson/Duman under study or wing behind I.Hill, Langdon, Bewley, Tucker)

Dixon
(behind Hoges, Tabs, Cox as tall forwards)

Jobe Watson
(Behind Ryan, Logue and Duman as hybrid third “tall” defender)

Valente will play

Yes he is certainly the most likely of the rest for mine but I have considered North ahead of him but that will play out in the preseason games (so it maybe a swap between the two). So many young guys for the midfield roles, it is hard to imagine we will play too many at the same time.

I think we would all agree that it is an important year for Lyon and I just can't see him playing as many first year players, as it is vital for him to show the team is heading/making finals again.

Hear where you’re coming from. But I believe Lyon has two clear years to get us really rolling. Hopefully he’ll need just the one.

Depends how we fare in the 1st half of the season.

I have seen freos draw. can potentially be 4-0 after 4 rounds
