Will try to make this thread for players who could be DT relevant after changing clubs or being drafted etc, or other players moving could open up an opportunity for other players in their position.

Hugh Greenwood to Gold Coast could be an option if he gets forward status

Blake Acres might be part of the Brad Hill deal, again like Greenwood could be one to consider if he does move to Freo and if he gets forward status.

Kelly moving to West Coast could free Menegola back up too.

Not sure that any of the traded players have much DT relevance for next year other than maybe Taylor. Some of the DFAs may have more relevance.

Tomlinson has said that Melbourne have committed to playing him on the wing. Those who love a huge risk and a POD could take a punt on him.
Only if he gets some sort of DPP

Had him in SC draft at times this year and was mid only, took him because 80s in draft are like 100s in classic format

Can score 90s-100s, but also stink it up with 40s and 50s too, would need to see an improvement in his floor

Not going to think too much about DT until the positions and prices come out early January. Happy to get them a month before most by having assistant this year.

Here is a template for everyone to use during the off season when talking about their club.

**INSERT NAME** is training the house down. He is looking to move into the midfield in 2020.

I don't know about the other boards but that's not really a thing on here really imo. Most people are speculating on players, particularly POD's at other clubs, not pumping up players at their own clubs.

Just seen the listing of positions for all the 2019 draftees.
Disappointing to see that there is not one def/mid amongst this entire lot. Only def/mid is Connor Budarik (GCS) who was selected as a rookie.
Only ruk/fwd was again another rookie, from Carlton, but they probably play enough Sunday games (9).

Might grab a cash cow ruck, then trade in a loopholer then if there's not many R3 options

AFL Fantasy released forward positions

Dusty is a FWD MID DPP again

Slim pickings though, injury prone Giants Brokenglassfield and Greene top 2 averaging DPPs

Dusty was only a MID last year, so we gain him but lose Danger, Dunkley and Boak as well as a few others. Forward line does provide slim pickings, as you said.

Something like

Dusty, Heeney, Greenwood and Smith I'll be looking to start with

NERVER AGAIN!!
- Neale
- Cripps
- Rockliff
- Sicily
- Libba
- Buddy

I'd like to believe that this decision will stop the whinging, but we both know that won't happen.
