Your saying that odds mean nothing about a teams likelyhood of winning? How do you think casinos and bookmakers enjoy a living? lol

Minor premiers vs team who scraped into the 4....

Cats huge favs, would be a huge choke if they somehow lose

The bookies are more confident than most supporters - 1.60ish would probably be a better reflection IMO

We don’t want to get a reputation as a perennial premiership favorite that can’t get it done in the prelim, especially against a side missing their AA key forward

That said - I believe the club and players are too professional to let a second opportunity slip this week

Win and win well tigers. I wanna do grand final weekend in Melbourne again god dammit! 😁

After a hard game against Collingwood
After a hard game against Eagles

The Cats have to front up against a rested young fit and firing Tigers in their 3rd encounter to the massive ground MCG - Below Players 29 or Over
30 - Zach Tuohy
35 - Ablett
33 - Taylor
31 - Selwood
30 - Henderson (if he plays)
29 - Dangerfield
29 - Zac Smith (if he plays)
29 - Rhys Stanley

Richmond
31 - Jack Riewoldt
29 - Cotchin
31 - Edwards
31 - Bachar Houli

Fair bit of chatter on the Cat's board about Darcy Fort coming in. 2E mentioned it as well in his interview.

Reckon they're thinking that Fort could do a 'Cox'....good luck with that then!

Excellent, it shows they are trying to match up to us. Screw dropping Soldo because Geelol don’t have a ruck man. Play Soldo and expose they don’t have a ruck man!!

I actually don’t think extra rest has any bearing on the result .

When you have played 2 grinding games of finals football and you are playing the 3rd on a large ground like the MCG and its 15 minutes into the last quarter
The rest and only having played 1 game in the last 3 weeks certainly does have a bearing in the result.

being fresh going into that last quarter is a massive advantage

Lets see if you boys can get 3 premierships in your current window. Looking forward to watching it all unfold.

Three? Pffftt.

Our last completed window we won 5 campaigner. Bookended by 67 and 80 when we gave you a father of a hiding in each finals series as I recall.

The greatest pressure upon us will be to improve our finals percentage against your rabble of a finals choking club as it stands at 139% resulting from 8 wins and astonishingly, 2 losses, which proves miracles can occur. It will be a huge win for your lot if you can even improve your pathetic finals percentage of 71.6% against us.

In fact, should we lose to you this week, then lose our next 28 finals we would still have a higher finals win ratio than Geelongtimesinceyouwonanythingthatmattered.

So go and meow somewhere else pussy...:cool::cool:

They have had an array of losses in recent weeks.
Dogs, Hawks, Freo (a bad loss), BL, Coll.
Hit Danger and Kelly hard and they'll be done. Keep an eye on Guthrie.
WC is nowhere near the quality of BL, Coll.
Think Bolton will return to form in the dry conditions.

What is it with Chris Scott always trying discredit the opposition? Why give them extra ammunition? Its like he is hiding his lack of confidence with arrogance. I wonder if he really believes what he said about us. Because if he does then maybe it's time for Geelong to make a change. Anyone paying attention would know we look a lot stronger this September than last year. Yes we won more games last year but by finals time we were on the slide. This year the Tigers have hit September flying and it seems we still have another gear we can go to. Tigers by 40+.

Someone on the Cats board posted bottom 6 in '17 and '19, and this is what i reckon ours is from the GF and the last QF.
I think 3 of ours are the same. Not sure if thats stability or a lack of progression, but they play their role very well.

Cats also look slightly better, not by a lot though, and apart from Stanley whos nothing special but has good agility for a big bloke, I prefere ours anyday.

2017 Bottom 6 - Zuthrie, Parsons, Murdoch, Motlop, Z Smith, Kolo (on a wing)

-Broad, Graham, Rioli, Buttler, Kmac, George, (Towner on the fringe)

2019 Bottom 6 - Narkle, Atkins, Bews, Menegola, Stanley ???? (whoever comes in as the replacement - Fort, Smith, Henderson)

- Broad, Graham, Rioli, Baker, Short, Bolton. (George on the fringe)

Thanks for your input champ.
On the back of Soldo’s article on the Richmond website, he isn’t sure if he will be playing Friday. So didn’t think it was too far out of the realms of possibility to suggest Chol or Balta could play, and to seek the opinion of people on here about this?
