What Line of Rookies is weakest this year? Backline Mids or Fwd.
I have asked this before but be fecked if I can find it. Also posting pissed don't help.

Early consensus is that DEF rooks are looking weak to start the season.

At this stage I think defence because currently the good ones I have in line to play round 1 are not 117 or 123k rookies - Collins, Rozee, Logue, Markov.

McKay is going to be a 50-60 point defender, good for D8 but wouldn't back him on field. Same with Burgess if he even plays.

Mids have a host of players, including mature-agers in which 1 could be a Kelly tier keeper.

Forwards have a couple of mature-agers (Cavarra, McAdams) and a couple of traded in players (Setterfield, Stengle)

Right now the forwards look good on paper which would be a nice change for once.

Then there are the surprise rd1 selections that we’ve never heard of that cause reshuffle mayhem!
Forwards and mids looking good. Reckon I'll be going light in the mids to start this year. Lots of cows.

Bewley, Hind, Hayes, Constable, Atley, Valente to name just a few. I'm trying to stick with mature age players (Bewley, Hind, Hayes) and others yet to play but second or third year in the system (Constable, Atley).

Plenty of first year rookies will be in the mix too.

You said you’re going light in mids. What’s your midfield setup right now?

Will probably change a thousand times before the season proper, but here's my current team. $255k left over at the moment. One of the mid rooks will become Gibbons once he's available.

Libba as your M4 is ballsy to say the least. If you’re going that light in the mids you really need to nail your other positions with reliable premos. Feel you may bleed points relying on the likes of BSmith, Parfitt and Gresh.

I respect the different approach though.
