why would we not be playing Balta?
I don't think anyone is ruling it out completely, we are just going on Dimma's comments which seem to be indicating that he won't play. The latest article hints at it again...

https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-03...closest-thing-to-rance-in-mix-for-tiger-debut

"He's been incredibly impressive (in the pre-season). He's as athletic as Alex, he's got traits that are incredible to watch and even at training, we watch him and go, 'Wow'," Hardwick told AFL.com.au.
"What he is, is he's very raw. Once we refine him into the player we think he can be, we think he's going to be a very good long-term player.
"Is it going to be this year? Who knows? We hope so. But it might be 12 months down the track.

I've highlighted what I think is most relevant, that's almost Dimma speak for "Not yet".... having said that, I won't give up hope until I see team selection on Wednesday evening.

I think the 6 6 6 will suit us over the course of the year

Will also be interesting how you use Dusty, predominantly forward or in the guts, given you rated 18th last year for clearances differential
Well, we were about mid pack for centre clearances, which is the relevant one. People always get these confused.

I’d say that we’ll try to improve centre clearances a bit, so we’ll use Dusty in the middle a bit more. But the addition of one T Lynch is probably what’s going to drive him into the middle more than the rule changes.

I agree, I think you will use Dusty in the centre more often, than last year, but he still may drift forward more often once in play

So TheCoach16,
Do you have an evil pay back plan for these two people that menace you?
I need to come from a position of strength. That’s difficult to do when these Richmond flogs keep touching us up...
But should we win on Thursday, my grubby little mates (who I love dearly) may endure some payback, yes...

Maybe a visit from a bikie gang to burn their house down. Or maybe just some blue and white streamers on their letter boxes. Haven’t decided yet...

Are you that brainwashed by the media dribble that you actually fail to see that EVERY SINGLE CLUB ran numbers behind the ball whether it was 7 v 6, 6 v 5, or whatever. If Richmond had a spare behind the ball then that means the opposing side had a spare somewhere on the ground, most likely down the other end of the ground in their defence. FMD how stupid are some people.
Toffee if you want to start playing the man, happy to entertain you, so lets just keep this to all matters football

This is not media driven it is fact, statistical fact. Yes, all sides pushed players back, either at centre bounces (we don't have stats on where wingmen started, defensively or attacking positions)or during play, but it is clear fact the Tigers started with 6 6 6 on 3.4 % of times, the lowest in the league. They even started with 8 6 4 more than any other side, again fact, not media opinion

I am not suggesting that you will not adapt to the changes, all I said, it will be interesting to see how you set up and what effect that has on your gameplan. A gameplan of having numbers defensive side of all stoppages then streaming forward. A simple gamplan, but extremely effective over the last 2 years

My penis will be so hard on Thursday night that you will be able to break coke bottles on it. That’s how cocky i am. Tigers by 81.

Sent from my iPad using righteous Bhodi manpower
That is gross!...

But if we win, mine will be so hard, the cat won’t be able to scratch it!

So I get it.

Mate, I’m not as idiomatic as this lot. I won’t get too far ahead of myself. And I certainly won’t show my hand in here.
Let’s just say, I’ve got something special in store for them...

Not really. I’m quite unimaginative. I’m happy to take on any suggestions you might have.
