This is how I reckon the teams will line up tomorrow night.

Lynch to play deep forward and to only leave 50 when the ball is in our defensive half. Higgins Butler and Rioli to play up forward to create havoc when the ball hits the ground and to also minimise the ability for Simpson Newman and Garlett to provide rebound out of D50.

Cotchin and Cripps to go head to head, while Curnow tries to tag Prestia again. I reckon we sit McIntosh on Murphy on the wing to limit his impact linking up through the middle.

In our back half Rance goes to Charlie Curnow, Astbury to take McKay and Broad to run with McGovern. I reckon Gibbons tries to sit on Houli to limit his impact and we'll use Vlastuin to try and use Walshs inexperience to create the +1 as Walsh pushes up the ground. Grimes to give Fasolo nightmares.

Balta to split time between the ruck forward and bench depending on how much Lynch blows up in his first game in over 6 months. Graham to be plan B if Cripps becomes a problem. Weller to go forward when Dusty pushes up into the middle while Short is used as the defensive rotation.

Not sure why everyone here and the whole football public and so called expert commentators think we couldn’t play lynch and balta together...

mark my words balta is the new grigg!
Will be playing mostly on the wing and ruck! He will be our lead up get out kick down the line out of defense with potentially 10-25% in forward line.
Balta is in for Grigg. But I don't know if he has the tank yet.

how many 100 metre penaltys will the umps gift the blooze in the first quarter ?
Agreed. How many of the new rule changes are they going to pay against us as a major source of Carltons goals only for the AFL to come out post game and say the umpires got it wrong.

How much time does dusty spend forward. Asking for fantasy reasons.
We obviously have more forward options now so less than last year
But for round 1 on its own? Caddy and Castagna are both out so he'll probably spend closer to 2018 time down there.

Though really, Dimma probably doesn't even know where Dusty will choose to go, what chance are we?
