Yeah he can, but I’ve hoped for him to become a bull inside player like what Cotchin and Martin are. Now, he does not have to be as good as them of course, but I hope he gives us something. You’re right about Prestia, he’s been good for us in the middle.

I remember the 3rd quarter of the JLT against Adelaide in 2017. The way Caddy and Prestia tore it up in the middle was mesmerising to watch. That’s what I want to see more of from Caddy.
Great comments.
I remember the match too when they congratulated Caddy.
I gave Walker a spray (not expletives) at the end of the match.
He slunk off the field and I realised he hated playing in Melbourne.

Are we tanking or just taking the piss.............Mav Weller.........seriously?

Felt the same when we signed him...Figured he was there for depth if things got desperate.

But he did really well in JLT (and clearly in training too given he got a game in JLT), so....

Personally, I think Weller is inspiring.
He was written off as a has-been by St Kilda.
He has worked hard, performs the role, and has the hunger for success.
You need a couple of players who have not tasted premiership glory to lift the team otherwise you become blasé.
You have to have the hunger for it like we had in 2017.

Personally ,I would have rested Lynch at least one more week and blooded Balta as second forward .I don't want to see another Joe Daniher situation.
I would’ve rested him too, for at least another 3 weeks. But what do I know? Docs have the inside info but imo still it’s not the optimum move long term. Armachair manager here says so.

He’s right to go. They wouldn’t play him if he wasn’t right.

I’m impressed they included Balta. His versatility keeps Lynch out of any centre bounce rucking duties. Gives Nank a chop out and allows us to get the right number of minutes into Lynch

At this point it looks like a good selection IMO.
