Maybe one from well outside the box but is it worth thinking about Townsend to come in and play on McGovern? So a job on him like he did on Lever?
IIRC Towna’s had his chance this year and he blew it…

Totally agree!! Stack is better across half back imo!

All the people calling for Bolton to be dropped are the biggest knee jerk result based reactions! He has one fumbly, not great stats game in the wet..
week before he was good just was off target and should’ve passed a couple off rather than going for goal himself..

On the weekend he already rectified that by looking for a teammate in a better position rather than goal first instinct!

His speed and evasiveness gets us out of packs and creates forward momentum more than most. He’s a real weapon and people forget he’s only 20..

I think Bolton's last 2 weeks have been a little poor, however there is a player in our 22 who needs to have the microscope placed firmly on him more than Bolton:

726581

726583

726584

Rioli's output this year has been garbage for someone who is 2 years older than Bolton.

Matthew Lloyd said Kennedy is lumbering and slow, no second efforts, no major grabs.
Could have a lingering injury.
Had a serious shoulder injury earlier in the year.
As a result, Darling is their go-to key forward.
This has probably already been said but if Matty Lloyd said that about Kennedy then you can write it in that Kennedy will play a Blinder against us on Sunday and have a ripper final series to boot.

I thought they hinted earlier the Cotchin injury was a couple of weeks further. No drama.
Can win without Cotch, not without Dusty.
In: Martin
Out: Stack.

Heading up to the Gold Coast for a few days, anyone know some good places to watch the game ? Don't want to rock up somewhere just before the bounce only for them to have the rugby or something else on.
The Helm is a great spot on the river ive watched a lot of games, or the refurbished Islander would be where I’d go

Something you notice at the ground is Rioli's pressure acts and 1%ers. They are crucial to how we play and he sets the standard for everyone else in the forward line/team. He often causes the opposition to turn the ball over, as well as bringing the ball to ground in contested marking situations, and when he gets the ball in his hands he is as creative as anyone in our team. Sheds was AA last year averaging 19 touches and 0.6 goals a game. It's not all about stats.

Just wish he would hit the score board consistently

Last few times, we have played them once since round 3 2017 in a game we won. ( eagles and pies have played each other 6 times since to put it into perspective )

It's 3-3 in our last 6 clashes which goes back to 2013.

We have also only played them at the MCG twice since 2010.
Oh realy? They slaughtered us, mala

Last five game we won only 2, with a winning margin of 17 and 11 points,
They won three by 47, 68 and 20 points,
There is some perspective for you.
