Watched Lunch closely that quarter from L2 at the Ponsford end.. he just isn't leading at the ball carrier quick enough for some reason. I would have thought maybe Jack being back upset his desire to play on instinct but I thought he was 20% off on Saturday too.

Bloke is a mountain just lead at the footy and destroy whatever stands in your way.
I get the impression our game plan is to tell him to park and for midfielders to put it on his head so he can bring it to ground. If that's the case then we are using him wrong because I agree with you, he should be leading at the ball more often.

I’m sitting right behind where Astbury did his ankle, Melbourne player pushed him into the contest and he seemed to land awkwardly on his ankle, my first thought was a broken ankle or foot, but hopefully just a bad sprain.
This. am sitting right near where it happened also.
Hopefully a few jabs and back on.

Looked like Dusty was frustrated that it wasn't going deep to the two of them. Did it look like we should have been instead of the constant short globe trotter crap?

Watching on TV it almost looks like a wet weather game, lots of fumbles and the ball looks like a cake of soap. Unfortunately we are playing like it's a brilliant sunny day trying cute little tap ons and backward overhead handballs.

The dirty ball is the one we thrive on, kicks along the ground inside 50 would be better, defenders hate that, have to take advantage of our inside 50 dominance, it's been a problem all season.

Lots of pressure from both sides.
Hot game.
eased off a bit that quarter though but our polish and decision making let us down. Hopefully it’ll open up this quarter we get our forward line working.
