I had assumed that because they listed passes for rookie picks that meant that they did the same for the main draft. Digging through a bit of twitter history shows we passed on 72.

So you were right, and I just learned something.

How stupid is Damian Barrett on trade radio, cannot work out that Brad Crouch next year will garner the Crow a pick under 15. due to a compo pick. Unless he believes they will finish in the top 4.
He Cannot work out that the cost of living difference between staying in SA and moving the Queensland would be the difference between asking for 1mill x 5 and accepting 800k at the Crows.
So far all I have heard is if you want Brad it will cost you 7 figures to get him out of SA.
Brad Crouch will take less to stay

Hartigan wouldn't get anything, and while I agree he's slipped a long way this year and if we had a replacement, he'd have gone for me. He doesnt' get us anything if we trade him though. Keath gets a potential 150 game player with a pick in the 30s. It's good list management to trade him while he is of value

CEY was one of the best players on the ground against Freo. Fyfe got 3 completely undeserved Brownlow votes. CEY had more possessions than him and was instrumental in us winning the game.

CEY prior to 2019 is a completely different story to CEY in 2019, so talking about the number of games he played on prior years when he was injured and out of favour is about as relevant as when the same thing happened to Jarryd Lyons. He took his game to a completely different level in 2019, and clearly Brisbane (a non-shit club who are clearly going places and have a fantastic recent record of acquiring players from other clubs who succeed) agree.

If you think Talia and Brown had better overall seasons than Keath you will be in for a rude shock on B&F night. There were far more than 5-6 games where Keath was a shining light. He’ll be top 3 in votes per game. There’s no doubt about it.

As for the return on Keath, picks in the 30s have an extremely low rate of even achieving 50 games, let alone 150. We’ll need to get lucky. Not much different to a pick 50 odd that Hartigan would net us really. But a very different productivity loss from our team.

#1 & #2 for Brad, Matt, and #4 .....that IMO would get the deal done .....and such is the gap between 1 & 2 and th rest .....I'd do that deal

Point taken, but wonder if he could rotate through the midfield also, and McAdam if he builds a tank could be more of an Atkins role at times - or long term Lynch replacement. Guess there is scope to change if the talent wants to come.

Come back and talk to me and of 2020, but if we lose the Crouch brothers it almost granteed will not contend for 5 plus years if we are lucky.
And Richmond and Carlton did not start a rebuild with youthful strong core group the Crows have that.

WE do have a youthfull group but strong not sure only time will tell that

The biggest concern is KPP and gun Mids

Tex Sloane Talia wont be there in three years and performing to what we are used to

Fog is our only real hope in KPP'S then the cupboard is bare , and the jury is still out on Fog although odds are he will be good but we need him to be great

Brad may get us Luko which will set up the forward line with Fog, and Matt a gun mid and pick 4 something else

then that youth may take shape

If that was the game that CEY activated beast mode and became Fyfe, then yes I definitely agree with you he was robbed off votes.

I dont recall the game, but I do recall CEY having some games with beast mode performances in 2019 and I even mentioned he become Fyfe in one game, if that was the game, its bloody disgusting.

Gives the Suns a ridiculous midfleld in 2 years time with Rowell and Anderson and they lose two blokes who, while extremely talented, didn't have a massive impact this year.
