Probably but hard to say.

There is a bit there which gives me confidence that Billy could be a long term key forward in our side, as sometimes all it takes is just changing clubs/being loved by a coach to become a good AFL player. That said, there is a lot of reasons someone like Billy could fail.

At least the at worse is it allows us to move Himmelberg to defense, and gives us backup for Jacobs/Jenkins leaving.

At least Frampton would never lay claim to being "vanilla" which was the usual put down on Symes.......and that's not discounting those hospital helicopter kicks that were prevalent with Symes.

I don’t want Fanta personally. We have the small ready and waiting, hopefully they come good with some consistent games. Dealing with Dorodo for a trade would just be the worst though, I mean trading for a contracted half decent player from Essendon, pass!

I hope we're draft focused this time. Put together a large group of youth (along with last year's draft, and next year's) of similar age so they will peak around the same time in a few years. We don't know who we will be able to draft just yet, and who will (and wont) go on to be great players.

If we trade in players now, we could end up with similar types of players eventually and a shortage in other types - more efficient to see who comes on later and trade in missing types later. If we can bring in young players cheaply that presumably Hamish & co likes (like Frampton, perhaps), then by all means do it.
