Dougal has requested a trade to St Kilda, Port wouldn't be interested in Keath, Keath has requested a trade to the Dogs, and their trade values are far apart.

Notice the different reactions from supporters to Luke Hodge who was retired from the Hawks then sign to play for the Lions in a mentor role.

Seem to be OK for the Hawks to say Retired but not for some of the Crows supporters

Maybe different reactions are due to completely different circumstances. Luke Hodge chose to retire and announced it himself in July. Fagan then coaxed him out of that decisions by offering him an opportunity up in Brisbane. Dougie never decided to retire, he was told by the club he wasn’t getting a contract and we organised a presser and stated that Dougie had retired when Dougie had chosen no such path. Surely you understand the obvious difference between the 2 scenarios.

My info is that Eddie has been happy with the footy environment this year and his not being happy is more a wish to get his family back to melb

Have to agree with that unfortunately. Big 48 hrs for Reid though - clearly the strategy from mid year was Keath and Greenwood to go and give us some decent draft picks.
