Roo came out on radio and said it before any club annoucement. Roo isn't going to be told what to say by a media manager and the club then has to run with it because Roo said it.

This is probably where they talked about his media commitments getting in the way of his role on the board. He's talked as a media man, but it's now an official statement from the director of the football department and the club has to go with it.

If you’d been paying attention, which clearly you and your mates haven’t been, I’ve had plenty to be unhappy about and I’ve said as much on numerous occasions. It doesn’t mean I don’t support the club though. Now had Burton and Campo NOT gone, that might have influenced me to assess my level of financial support. Fortunately I didn’t have to address this. I’ve still shot off emails to Fagan though. I wonder how many of the whinging set in here actually do that?

The difficulty is that you can't go two posts without contradicting yourself, depending upon what you perceive best supports your agenda at the time.

In one post you're the world's happiest woman, who loves the club warts at all not like the rest of those miserable losers who you believe this positivity and unconditional love makes you better than. Then when challenged you instead try to present as having 'plenty unhappy' to the point of wanting to withdraw financial support. And you can't see the difficulty in presenting these two positions simultaneously.

I am satisfied though that you are a real critic- indeed the actions necessary to avoid you having to take hard and decisive action in defiance of the club line and which would allow you to return to the 'everything is fine, love me some warts' zone ended up being precisely the actions that the club did take. What a lucky coincidence.

Who is running this club, I thought it was the CEO's responsibility which is why he is paid $600K per year

Saying that the board need to get of their arse and get a new CEO to run it correctly, that is their responsibility

Please show me anywhere that I've said: I am the happiest woman in the world or that I am better than you? Also, if that's the message you take out of what I say, then that's on you buddy. If I've complained in here about something... I've also vocalised that to the club via email. I guess I'm just not the sort of person that automatically assumes the worst in any situation.

I always thought Shutts was just the coordinator rather than the maker of policy? Whoever it is, they need a complete rethink about how they approach PR. It has been very poor for the last two years.

The HR group is responable for what is released comments,

After the Tippert saga, the Club reduces the powers of the CEO and placed what some would call a board overwatch on the Football department.
A lot of people missed the changes due there focus on witch hunts, at the time I was in two minds I like the Board having an overwatch function but did not like the change in responsibilities and how much power that gave them in the day to day running of the club, and we are suffering today because of it. Unfortunately like today, people are into witch hunts rather than fixing the issue/Problems.
As for Fagan, he is doing a reasonable job in the area he can actually influenze without interferance.
