There was like eight ignored posts in a row. I was curious.

I don’t really like to set people on ignore. If you are posting about football then I will read it. No point hiding things because I don’t agree with the perspective, otherwise why join a footy discussion forum?

I ignore a couple of people who mindlessly post nothing but trade permutations in the draft thread because it’s a waste of space.

I do wish there was an ignore interaction feature. If either of these 2 posters quote one another then ignore the list.

From my understanding, Shutts organises the media content and events but does not set the tone or how it put out. ie he not the speechwriter, he not the policymaker.
If I am wrong I apologise, as you would be one of the few I would believe on BF re this.

Ok, so explain why Matthew Nicks was a Senior Assistant Coach himself when he feels that they aren't necessary?

I have coached at a semi-professional
sporting level for 20 years. At one stage I was a senior assistant.
As a coach I never wanted a senior assistant.
I know plenty who feel the same way.
Maybe Nicks feels the same.

Just remember the reason the club had the review. Just to remind you it wasn' because the incompetent Chapman really wanted it.

There is literally nothing Chapman or the club has done in the recent to medium past to give them any benefit of what is going to happen moving forward.

As Faith mention your type of support is detrimental to any type of accountability by the clowns running the AFC.

Former Brisbane Lion Nick Robertson is among a number of delisted free agents being left in limbo ahead of the national draft as clubs look to maintain the flexibility to orchestrate pick swaps during the draft to be held over two nights at the end of November.Rather than sign a delisted free agent, many clubs are planning to keep list spots open so they can take their full suite of picks into the draft in case they need to package more than one draft pick together to secure a pick swap with another club.
Many clubs are also preparing to weigh up what players may be on offer via the draft against the pool of delisted free agents rather than lock in experienced players ahead of the national draft.
The situation means delisted players searching for a new home are facing an additional wait before their future is clarified with Robertson still on the hunt. The Dockers and Crows have been linked to the versatile 24-year-old.

From my own experience, Shutts has been present at every "sit down" we have had with the club, and during the CM stuff he was the guy I was speaking to to get the club's comments. He has a media coordinator under him who does all the leg work. Thats the guy I co-ordinate interviews with. Shutts is also present at all media/press conferences. I'm pretty sure he sets policy, probably in conjunction with his boss (Fagan) and ratified by the Board.

Jen the bait is thrown out and you take the hook off the line, you are entitled to your opinion which should be respected right or wrong, don’t lower yourself to engage in personal response, bebate with people who can respect your opinions, you are just passionate about your footy club right or wrong depends on others opinion but I respect your love for the club

Fair bit of Sixers influence now at the club . Commercial manager Paul Bauer and Matty Nicks were best mates throughout school and are still very close .
Sapper and Potsie are super tight as are the both of them and their old coach in Phil Smyth .

No problems with this at all as all 4 are very good men and the 3 ballers have significant experience in what a winning culture looks like .
There would certainly be a very strong base of unity formed between these sections of the club .

Just need to clean up some more coaching department roles at the end of 2020 , replace Chapman etc .

I feel like we are heading in the right direction for a club rebuild over the next 12-24 months .

Spoke to my mate who teaches at Trinity. He reckons Rupert is a top notch bloke and very easy to get along with. Also said he runs the sporting compenent of the college which is top notch.

Hey, it might mean we are another step closer to getting Hately back lol. His dad would have had a fair bit to do with Rupert.
