How can the week start on Sunday? It's a weekEND. Or is Saturday the weekend....? Maybe we are supposed to work on a Sunday!!! o_O fu** that!
Saturday was originally (in Judeo-Christian beliefs) the Sabbath, the 7th day, day of rest, end of week.

Nah, I went there once.... it's actually not surprising who the righter than right conservatives are. ;)

Those on the right at least accept that they’re on the right. A little more self aware than the heavy lefties that refuse to accept they’re not centrists. And there’s really only Bicks that is Close to being near the right end, EC is of the right, but not heavily. Mostly is full of lefties, which is why there’s not a lot of tolerance for differing views.

I thought Sunday was the 7th day (something about day of rest)...sounds like the last day of the week if you are going religious

pretty sure thats saturday.
christian religion i think resurrection day (sunday) is first day of the week.
but theres more devout christin people on here who could tell you for certain.

The whole concept of a 7 day week is based on the book of Genesis. In which the Sabbath is the seventh day. The ISO convention is that weeks start on Monday. Plenty of people use either, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

The Sabbath is the 7th day, Saturday as still observed by Jewish people.

The position now dominant in Western Christianity is that observance of the Lord's Day (Sunday) honours, supplanted or superseded the Sabbath commandment in that the former "celebrated the Christian community's deliverance from captivity to sin, Satan, and worldly passions, made possible by the resurrection on the first day of the week."[2][3] Early Christians observed the seventh day Sabbath with prayer and rest, but they also gathered on the first day. By the 4th century, Catholics[4] were officially observing the first day, Sunday, as their day of rest, not the seventh.

ISO meaning atheists?

No, International Organization for Standardization. Creates standard definitions for trading between nations.

That was not my recollection of the minute I spent there at all.

But don't we use the AS here?

But don't we use the AS here?
Australia officially uses the ISO standard, but both conventions are widely used with no issues.

Once we settle the first day of the week discussion, can we move back to the draft please.

Is pick 1 a high or low pick?
It's good when it's first pick. Not when it's last.

ISO 8601 if anyone is bored...
