You feel for Brede too though, the guy gave up playing SANFL to come to play at Sandy and hopes to get on an AFL list. Telling him to suck it up in a back pocket isn't fair either. We expect them to carry the team when we pull all our guys out too. Even affiliated VFL sides have to have non AFL listed players who play in important positions.

The thing with Clarke is although he isn’t an elite kick the fact that he can kick on both feet means that he can open up the game from stoppages like you said. It’s not predictable for the opposition. I thought today and other hands this year he’s shown a great ability to get separation at the stoppages we saw how good Gresh was today in the guts hopefully Clarke gets to that level as they Beth have the evasive moves and strength to be damaging kids in a different way to Ross/Steele/dunstan etc

Also Coffs step and change of direction will be a weapon. Just cuts the angles really well and it’s great to see him getting back into form. Hope as he build consistency we give him some more midfield time to develop him as a big body mid

Did you watch secull play today? he was much better than Langlands. This is a Sandringham Zebra Thread so i think we are entitled to talk about him, are we not?

I haven't seen much Sandy this year, watched most of yesterday's game on the telly. I wasn't super-impressed by Hind. Obviously he had a quieter game anyway, but even taking that into account, seems pretty headless chook when he gets the footy - the decision is always turn inside and run hard. Someone said he's like a quicker version of Nathan Wright and I tend to agree on the evidence of yesterday. He probably deserves a run in the ones but I'm not expecting too much of him.

Langlands is an outside player. Makes complete sense It’s also important for our players that they play in wining sides. Your posts yesterday seem to show you were upset we won both games. It’s strange.

I certainly hope he does. Those 2 have genuine injuries. Steven has a health issue that can come and go very quickly. Let’s hope he gets back.

If we are banking on Langlands to ride his white stallion into town and save us , well F---- me .
 
Was good to have the game on ch7 so could record and watch as I was unable to get to the game yesty.

Clark looks good on the offensive, but I think he isnt in seniors due to his defensive work, which he needs to work on, saw he tried to lay couple tackles that were easily broken away from and think tackling is one of richos non-negotiables.
Hind, I just dont think he is good enough, have seen a bit of him and yes he has speed and breaks away from packs at times with it, but his kicks are generally butchered and with Gears, Brown and the 9irons as others have mentioned, we cant afford another butcher down back or on the wings etc
Coff looks good at times, and not so good at times, has learned the goddard finger point from somewhere and whinges to the umpire too much, play the game and just let the umpire do what they do
