5/6 of those players are key position. 2 Key Defenders, 2 key forwards, 1 ruckman and a Midfielder

Its simply the players that didn't get a game this year.

Its kind of good that most of them still have some sort of potential.
Even our ruck boy, he's damn tall.

GTrain wasn’t just taking the heat, he was taking the goals too. Not surprising Reiwoldt couldn’t kick more than 30

Milney kicked a lot that season too.
The following season Riewoldt kicked nearly as many as G-Train. Its what happens , young players get better with time.

Funny that you mention that. I was recently talking to someone who works at the club and has worked with both Paddy and Winx. She said Paddy wasn't exactly a hard worker and thought it was just going to happen for him (being a pick 1). In contrast, Winx is apparently working his ass off to be the best he can be. It might be a bit exaggerated but that's what I was told.

My impression was that Paddy's workload was very regulated , and that his diabetes restricted him a lot.

Jeez, that’s a bit rough based on his condition and depending what his training regime was.
I wonder where exactly she worked at the club and if she was really in a position to know?

Hmm working with Paddy..... clearly a canteen worker. Specialising in cakes and dim sims.

There's this guy called Max King, you may have heard of him?

He's carrying the whole forward line by himself? He must have played a lot of great footy since he was 17 to be so confident that he'll be carrying us from round 1 next year. Hope he's more resilient than Jack Watts, I'd smash the * out of him every contest if I was an opposition coach.

Yeah a zero gamer.
Gee lets de-list all our players , knowing we can just draft better ones, what could go wrong. They always just play great in their first game of footy don't they?

Hint... even good players take time.
Nick Riewoldt played 14 games over 2 seasons before he kicked 3 goals.
He didn't kick another bag until his 28th game when he kicked 6.
More often he kicked ZERO.
His seasons goals in his third year, when he played his 50th, he kicked 30. This when he had Fraser Gehrig taking the heat.

And Hamill was his big brother who would hunt anyone that got into him. G Train was pretty handy and intimidation as well.

How do we fit them all in while giving King game time?

Is that telling me or asking me?
I wouldn’t have a clue. “ A woman who works at he club” is not exactly a clue.
No i was asking? Or possibly guessing!

Tis true...Was just the way it was worded that apparently "she" had worked with both players!
So i was acting in my phone a friend capacity! :)

Didn't say i was a good friend! :confounded:

Can't play him if Bruce is in the side.
Why not ?

I would rather him play along side someone like Bruce for a year or 2, imo we shouldn't be playing him and just Membrey

King full forward.
Bruce playing out on the wing , Membrey exactly the same as ever.
Hell i don't even mind playing Bruce as defensive forward.
And Gresham Billings Hind Lonie Long and Parker?

And Gresham Billings Hind Lonie Long and Parker?

Its been a while since Gresham and Billings have been forwards.
Hind? Off the bench , wing or HBF.
Lonie, Long, Parker and Kent can fight it out none really playing at a level that makes them a lock.

St Kilda has poached David Rath from the AFL to head up its football department next season.

Rath will join the Saints in a key role overseeing the coaches, game trends analytics and development.

The appointment will be confirmed this afternoon.

Rath (pictured below with AFL footy operations manager Steve Hocking) was a key figure in Hawthorn’s premiership era.

The move is a huge coup for the Saints.

This is more like it. Don’t care as much for his head office experience but 13 years as a key figure at the Hawks is great.
