“Reposting videos and photos of St.Kilda players from 10 years ago when we used to win games” :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Ouch!

This you, George?

Someone's been burnt by their ex-employer/soon to be ex-employer.
Nope! We don't really churn as much as other clubs. You should take a look at Carlton, their turnover is the biggest in the league.

St Kilda coach Alan Richardson has revealed that star-recruit Dan Hannebery will miss his second straight week of football while not carrying a particular injury.
Richardson revealed that while Hannebery will miss Saturday nights clash in Geelong, it will be due to soreness having returned to football and not a specific injury.
“He actually doesn’t have an injury,” Richardson said.
“He’s just pulled up really sore after a couple of weeks of AFL footy and it just made sense.
“We were hopeful it would only be the one week, but he’s still just been a little bit sore and a little bit ‘DOMSy’ (delayed onset muscle soreness) but we’re really confident that he’ll be right to go next week.”

The Saints have struggled with injuries in 2019 with both captain Jarryn Geary falling to a season-ending leg injury, while Dylan Roberton’s year was ruled out before round one.
Add Hannebery’s struggles to make the side and the Saints currently face an uphill battle as finals chances slip away.
Richardson’s tenure with the Saints remains under building pressure as he looks to push for a finals birth, but remains hopeful for the remainder of his sides 2019 campaign.
Richardson remains with hope that four-time best and fairest Jack Steven could return from ongoing mental illness issues in the coming weeks, sidelining the tough onballer to just the four matches this year.
“His training the past few weeks is the training of a fella that’s loving his footy again, really enjoying being around his teammates and really enjoying being at the footy club,” Richardson said.
“I’ve become optimistic that we are a chance to see Jack and hopefully it’s soon.”

Seriously the club can * off with this crap. ‘Not injured’...riiiiight.

Two weeks of DOMS....okay lol
LOL that's what I thought. I've been training people for 10 years and never had someone as fit as a professional footballer complain about that for two weeks. Heck even just your regular gym goer would know it's utter nonsense. Boy oh boy...

Edit: He has strained his hammy there's no question.

Barrett suggesting we’ll move Richo on as soon as the finals equation becomes impossible. Interesting given Roo said recently he believed he would coach out the year regardless.

Misdirection from Roo. I think he’s trying to portray himself as not “itk” in the media. He wants nothing to do with the whole exit commentary on Richo imo.

The club can say or choose not to say whatever they like. We are not entitled to know everything. But I look at it from the club’s perspective & wonder what the benefit is to pretend like everything is okay? It only creates frustration & conjecture. May as well just be honest & say he’s had a setup, sure there will be some angst amongst supporters but I think it lessens the angst if they are honest.

You know what, in hindsight it's probably the smart move judging by how the media have responded to it. Either they don't care enough about it or they're idiots, but they haven't really said too much on it not being DOMS and it being something more serious.

He was running at training during the week so I'd say it's a strain, a tear and he wouldn't be there at all obviously.

I think it's simply just an exercise in limiting scrutiny on the club. I know you say we can see past that but we're diehards, I think to the casual supporter they'll read it and it'll be reassuring.

If that's the case , Richo is saying what the club told him to say.
Now he's about to be sacked and he knows it.

If it was me , i'd say the truth, what does he have to lose.

Something not adding up , but you people guessing aren't necessarily on the money either.

That's what Watters did

I'm guessing it definitely isn't DOMS.

No its not
Watters annouced the way the club was going to proceed , when the club hadn't decided yet, and certainly hadn't told Watters to announce it.
Didn't he also offer someone s job without letting the club know?
And went on radio saying everything was fine on the day he got sacked?
