Righto then. Lets just hope we can get things back on track and post a real substantial improvement. Nothing will say "**** you" to everyone like pushing 50k members and smacking some of that debt away.
Agreed! I reckon if we started well last year we could've cracked 50,000. I think with a good start this year we will get close, but improvement this year and a good start next year should see us crack 50k for the first time.

So I've now officially run out of family members to sign up.

Me,
Mrs,
Dog#1
Dog#2
Daughter (3 months)

Last three are basically donations I know (pretty sure you can't get disobedient Australian Shepards into the Locker Room bar) but I feel better knowing is all going to the Saints.

Go Sainters!!!

This is what shits me about JLT games.

Surely it is both clubs intetrests to play it at a central venue?

Let's be honest, how many potential members will attend in whoop whoop?

Each club should get at least one game at home.

Imagine the turn out on Sunday if it was at Moorabbin or western oval?

Wonder if we might get a Moorabbin game next year. Only issue there's no actual seating and the crowd would be massive.

You'd have to put a fence up so the AFL can charge people.
Yes....it will be very interesting to see how it's all set up......the new grandstand(to be completed by next years family day) will hold 1,000 people......I think it could actually be for 2,000 people.

They may erect temp fencing around the ground for games...….or have no temp fence and do a rough head count and work out money distr from that.

Saints have always had a connection with Ballarat as it was our zone many moons ago , maybe playing up there we can get a few to sign up again ?

Listening to Lethers on the Saints podcast, the Club love regional games, and want more, not less.

I'd say its difficult because back then, we had a fair few ballarat boys playing for us.

They had a contingent who would take a bus and get to Moorabbin to watch reserves and seniors.

They always say on the fence bench on the members wing.

They'd be well and truly gone by now...

Yep. Imagine the cost of encircling the entire ground with temporary fencing. Prohibitive when youre only charging a few bucks to get in.

Pies have free VFL games at Vic Park

Kingston City Council as part of the Moorabbin reserve development started investigating both options for temp and perm fencing to enable all community leagues playing out of there to charge for marquee games. I haven’t seen what the decision is.

Seats for the grandstand is meant to be 1000 seats. When comparing the expectations before 2018 and now, to be only 678 behind our count in that year is really quite amazing work.
I agree! Seemed at one point that we had the prospect of a tremendous drop out....
One can congratulate the club, but I congratulate our supporters and members for sticking fat. Well done guys and gals, and not to forget family pets!....just need 10k more!
