Launching this year's Summer Series is the Hypothetical 'should we try Mase Wood off a Half Back Flank?'

If he struggles continually, then I can't see why he shouldn't be given a go down back.

I don't think he struggles continually but he does struggle for consistency.

Just like Waitey, i can remember him on more than one occasion providing an option for defenders clearing the ball from the backline and taking very strong contested marks and using the ball well to follow up, is a handy tool to have in the kitbag for any forwards.

Yeah Mase is where he needs to be, roaming half forward.

Confidence in his body and set shot routine are all he needs to complete his skillset.
