Don't you think we have enough players on the list with potentially career ending injury question marks hanging over their heads?Major buyer beware with Boyd because of the mental health issues also
Great size though athletic and powerful
Pretty much the perfect key forward who can pinch hit ruck
But still if we are taking a risk of a salary dump I’d rather Patton
It’s the banged up body vs mind debate. Patton’s another knee away from retirement and I don’t think the twisting and turning in the forward line will do him any good.Major buyer beware with Boyd because of the mental health issues also

You started this threadThe supercoach junkies.
They would sit in front of a brick wall peeling off random names.

Hahaha, training up players in the 2nds to get a game in the seniors..None of the key forwards mentioned above should come into consideration unless we’ve given Nick Larkey a run of 12 consecutive games, and even Ben Mc Kay playing up forward
We need to see what we’ve got , fingers crossed a hidden gem

Is a free agent too which makes it more attractiveWith Taz turning 30 next year and Thompson arguably in his final year Id look at a key defender......Tomlinson at 26yo would be a good get.
It’s not super coach, A graders have got to want to come here.. we need to find diamonds in rough, in positions we are lacking.North either goes after A graders or to the draft....we cant afford to speculate on players who have injury concerns (both physical or mental).
Agree ...Durable player...Is a free agent too which makes it more attractive
Astbury is another KPD free agent

Well put. We've definitely got some challenges ahead of us.We've never properly worked the draft in 10 years maybe excepting 2009 where Gibson walking gave us extra 2nd and 3rd rounders. What we did with the picks after that was another matter.
Since then we've never really proactively moved move players with trading currency in order to improve draft position.
Add to that if Daw gets back and playing even at 90% of what he did last season. Defensively we’d be quiet strong.Thompson goes again next year on current form, Tarrant has 3 years left, McKay is already in place to take a KPD spot, and Vickers-Willis will take Thompsons spot. Durdin? Who knows? It's not a massive issue.

Apparently Saints after Tomlinson they should be more worried about trying to keep billings and GreshamAgree ...Durable player...

Feel like Tomlinson is a realistic good target for us who brings versatility and a good combination of athleticism and size
$$$Why on earth would Tomlinson want to join us though?
