1. to obtain the number 1 pick in the draft? It would need to be a 3 player package including a first 18 player - say Wood - then two of McMillan, Garner and Tyson. Getting those guys to agree to go to the Gold Coast would take some hefty contracts from the Gold Coast.
2. end of first round - pick 19 or so - 2 of the last 3.
Wood, Garner and Tyson for pick 1? Come on mate.

No chance

We wouldn’t be prepared to do what it would take to get a deal done and rightly so.

Has not looked out of depth at AFL level and is still very young. Reminds me a ton of Goldy actually.

Would be an excellent pick up at what I assume would be a cheap price.

Wood, Garner and Tyson for pick 1? Come on mate.

Macmillan + 2020 R4 to St.Kilda to reunite with Bread Scott for 2020 R2.

Turner to Carlton for 2020 R2.

Then Dumont, Thompson and Tyson, Carlton's 2020 R2 for a 2020 R1?

GC 2020 R1 + our 2020 R1 to GWS for Taranto.

Thompson is a free agent. Those other players are contracted and don't have to go to Carlton unless they want to.

Did you just land the top pick in the draft for Dumont, Tyson, a free agent Scott Thompson and a pick around 20?

Liam Anthony will presumably go along as an assistant coach.

You think we should ask for more?

Harsh on Thompson, Turner and Dumont.

Yeh but all 3 are easily covered. May as well try to upgrade into uber elite talent.

I'd miss Turner but thommo would be more handy for the coasters.

I think I'd rather give them Brown.

Errr no, brown is one of the best forward in the competition in the prime of career, turning 27 in nov. Got 5 years at the pinnacle, no way we trade him. Larkey is only second fiddle atm. If bulldog is as desperate, they will be willing to trade. Didn't someone else said Adelaide is willing to trade pick 2 and 20 for larkey and our pick? If this is true, no way do we let this opportunity go by. There will always be another Larkey.

We could go back to having Campbell as our 2nd tall forward.

So we trade Larkey, draft his replacement, then spend the next 3-4 years developing him in the hope that he makes it.

Or we keep the 21yo kpf and watch him flourish over the next decade half of which will be alongside Brown.

Yeah it's a tough choice.
