I’m pretty sure the AFL does release the data on how much money goes to each team. Saints are (predictably) hanging out with Gold Coast and one or two other teams with massive handouts.

For anyone interested in the dollar side of things:

www.footyindustry.com.

It has all the 2018 data there......it's great viewing.

I didn’t claim it was better. You just did. I said it was the best footy area in Melbourne. Now numbers drafted would suggest that is correct.
In response to my claim on zones... how in the hell is that relevant?

The topic was the affect of the zones on the draft.

Not what zone produces the most talent be it compromised or not... Which is a completely different topic.

You said all that matters is wins. So I showed you a scenario where we could have a higher amount of wins than another side and therefore be considered to be less eligible under your suggestion despite the otherside playing finals.

And what's so hard about answering the question? Instead of dodging it all the time.
When did I suggest it was over a period and that period could include finals. I don’t dodge. I laugh at your examples or at your reading of what I actually said.

Just sit with that thought for a moment Brutus.

Seb Ross is our best midfielder. .

How does that make you feel??
I've said it multiple times, we need better players to play alongside Ross. And we would be incredibly stupid to trade him.

But fact is, he is currently our best midfielder.

You literally said all that matters is lack of wins. So I present you with a case where you could lose more make finals and be eligible over a side who won more but did not make finals.

And your response is that... right. Again dodging it.

I never said we had the best zone. You said it. Again not reading but guessing.
Mate you said it here:
"we have one is probably the best footy area in Melbourne"

In response to my post about other clubs having a superior zone.

Only for you to turn around a couple of posts later to say you had no idea...

So you chucked in a random comment not even relevant to the point I was making and now you're arguing over semantics that had nothing to do with the topic that was being discussed. Like what's the point of this conversation if you're just going to throw up random ass comments then argue over the semantics of it?

Carlton apparently going to give a future first for Martin.

That's a big price considering his form. Blues will hope to rise up the ladder.

Pick 5-9 for Martin is crazy. He’s good , very good at his best, but he hasn’t been very consistent.

Good luck to them!

I think GC still lose unfortunately. They really need those guys to stick around.

It'd be like us losing Gresham for a future first in a year or two time.

I don't get why the AFL doesn't enact an out of salary cap bonus system where by the talent up there gets a bonus if they see out their contract and resign/retire. Rather than throwing picks at it and hope they stay.

Like tackle the problem not the symptom.
