Id go for Kelly. To be honest contract or not these days doesn't really matter. The problem is they need to want you.

Hard pass on Zak Jones, he's had a few years now and his disposal under no pressure can be Geary-like.

Jack Martin, Josh Kelly or Ed Langdon would be good. If we hadn't picked up King I would be very interested in Peter Wright.

Agree we are right for talls, but watching 2MP makes me think him and Roma would be a nice ruck / fwd combo. I am not sure I wanna see Winx get belted in the ruck

Still like Clavarino myself

The bloke I would chase with $ is Brayden Sier if he keeps not getting a game , has Beams , Adams & Wells
if front of him ...

We will get a free hit with Biggy next year , so it’s just mids , mids , mids going forward although hearing
Young is gun at Stingrays .

Charlie Constable would have ben nice with the pick after Clav. He got 31 possessions and a goal in Geelong's star studded midfield this weekend. Perfect upgrade on Dunny.

Yeah good footballer Constable , very good, Cats developed him slowly playing in the 2nds absolutely killed
them at Sandringham last year , but we have a bloke called Blake Acres who we already have for that role .

Clavarino is still 12 months from it , developing beautifully before getting injured .
No rush with our young talls , Marsh is the forgotten one think he will play soon , not worried about Freo
tall players Fyfe , Brad Hill , Walters ( if he plays ) are their talismans stop them we win.

With Joyce coming good and Clav showing great promise prior to injury and recruiting of Marsh I think we are good for key defenders talls
Not forgetting Jake still to return
Would really love an emphasis on guys like Hind even watching last night you could see how damaging Saad could be.

I would play Hind this week instead of McKenzie but doubt we change winning team bar injury .

Constable is the name I was yelling at the TV when our pick came around. Worpel would’ve been nice too but don’t forget you need 4-5 years on a forward flank before you play in the middle for us with our star studded midfield.

I did know the girl quite well, but only in the professional and not in the biblical sense, unlike many of my colleagues and sundry members of the legal fraternity and the underworld. Standby. Pass the popcorn. There are coppers, current and serving who are scrambling for the exits.

That's on the proviso the RC is serious about rooting (heh heh, rooting) out the whole truth. The recent IBAC hearing into Operation Lorimer, the task force that investigated the Silk/Miller murders was pathetic. A complete waste of time that missed any potential skulduggery because idiots like Hugh Selby QC was looking in the wrong place.

I recall as a young detective In 1988, Selby and that other parasite, Ian Freckleton, established the Police Complaints Authority, or the Laurel and Hardy show as they became known. Before being shut down after 18 months without a single, successful prosecution, they provided us with much cause for hilarity.

One night at Oakleigh police station, an unfortunate Scallywag complained, quite justifiably, that his front teeth had been knocked out by an overzealous copper wielding a metal torch.

Enter Selby, stage right, complete with magnifying glass. All that was missing was his Deer Stalker hat, a large pipe and some investigative ability. After poring over the cell, which was the scene of the alleged assault, he found nothing. By the time he was done doing his CSI impersonation, a couple of hours had passed. In that time, half of those protecting Victoria on the nightshift had formed a crowd. It was standing room only in the Watch House. Even the Sunshine div van crew had come for a look!

Anyhoo, he ended his examination, empty handed and furious, giving us all a spray and vowing to take his terrible retribution, accusing us of cleaning the cell prior to his arrival. We cheered him all the way out the front door.

There was only one thing old Hugh did wrong that night. He did direct the scene be preserved. He examined it with a thoroughness that would've made Holmes proud. Even his magnifying glass technique was a thing of great beauty. What a shame he was in the wrong cell! We just didn't have the heart to tell him, as we were acting on his direct and strict orders. Your taxes at work.

Policemens dont do that sort of thing.

Pretty quick to dump Clav , Oscar will be just fine just give him some time

I've never got too excited about Clav. I saw a few Sandy games last year and thought he looked a bit plain. Others said he did well in some games so perhaps it was just had bad timing. I saw Goddard play a very good game and that was obviously not a regular thing so it can be deceiving.

Worpol I really waned and plenty on here wasted Constable who was touted as late first round and had some suggestions he could be Paddy Cripps like before drafting (a bit slow but massive accumulator). Two very good inside mids when we really need inside mids seemed a no brainer.

Parish OOC at the end of the year. Reckon he might want out of that rabble.

Let's get him, gresh and carlisle together to complete the pick 5 head ****
Ouch!
