True.

That's just my view. But if Ross was part of a trade for Cogs would you do it?
Yep I would but that’s without knowing what impact that would have on the playing group with Ross being our VC

Not a player on our list I wouldn’t trade if it made the club better my problem is l don’t trust the people in charge of list management enough yet to get it right. As it sits right now the Kent and Hannebery trades are a fail imo

Hannebury , Bytel and Parker must be performing worse than the 2019 2nd round pick at AFL level i assume. Since the trade is a fail.

Kent must be worse than the 2019 4th rounder.

If Hannebury and Bytel play at all in 2020 , the trade is a massive win.

Yes Bytel may not come good, surgery is a risk. We may miss out on an elite 2nd rounder like McKenzie, or Spencer White.

How is Hannebery and Bytel performing at the minute?

Lol. We gave up pick 65 for Dean Kent and you are calling it a fail after round 6. One week after close to a best on ground performance.

I wonder what the average games played is for a player taken at pick 65?

There was a reason he was pick 65 won’t improve relying on pick 65s

Yeah right.

We got Roberton and Membrey for free and Bruce for a pick in the 40's.

Plenty of players have become huge assets to teams after being traded for peanuts.

Taking out the games where he got injured, Kent has kicked 3 goals 3 times in his last 9 games.

Yeah pretty good point on Robbo and Membrey lol ok I was wrong there

Ross is probably worth a late first early second, but the thing is who would want him? He's a great player, but he doesn't do any one thing well. A club looking for outside polish wouldn't consider him, and neither would a club looking for an inside player. He's basically an accumulator that would be targeted by a lower rung club looking for consistency and leadership, and they'd only do that if he was trying to leave.

As long as Ross is best 22 he won't be going anywhere, or if he does we won't be getting much for him.

Acres however, he could have a big second half of the year and suddenly jump in value. A run of good "Acres" type games could value him as a late first rounder. However, if he can keep performing well as the chop out ruck he's actually very valuable to our set up.

Dunstan would be a 4th rounder or later. Don't see many clubs keen on him at all.

Players I think we'd be open to advances on are;

Longer
Acres
Dunstan
Coffield
Long
Sinclair
Phillips
Membrey
Steven
and maybe even Richo's very own son, Daniel Mckenzie

But of course, only if the price was right.

The rest are either too important to our structure, our leadership, or we wouldn't get a good enough deal/they could skyrocket in value (see Matty Parker)

Lets just be thankful your not in charge of our list , Coff , Members and long arn't going anywhere IMO and for some strange reason we signed up Sincs for another Two years , your right about the rest though

Hard to say, a lot obviously depends on who is willing to pay what. Personally I think;
Ross - 1st rounder
Acres - late first/very early 2nd with possible pick swap later.
Dunstan late 2nd.
You must be kidding , if you could get that done you would be the Legend of Moorabbin , a bloke playing for sandy for a 2nd round pick :rolleyes:
