Eric Hipwood, kicked 6 to get Brissy over the lineWho?
Goog spot Ekomaria. Hipwood looks the closest thing to Ming in the game right now, and he's traveling nicely. Comparisons to Vickery and the like are out of place imo..Eric Hipwood, kicked 6 to get Brissy over the line

Ok thanks. Hope it’s not an outlier. Still think the game seems more suited to smaller types. As long as king is good defensively and on the ground and can move around there should be no issue. If he a stand and deliver forward he will struggleEric Hipwood, kicked 6 to get Brissy over the line
yeah I reckon Ming will look similar to Hipwood. even Joe Daniher, he's played some really nice footy. all lefties as wellGoog spot Ekomaria. Hipwood looks the closest thing to Ming in the game right now, and he's traveling nicely. Comparisons to Vickery and the like are out of place imo..

Hey dude, sorry, I wasn't meaning to be an arseh*le, I want to believe but was hoping you had some evidence for it. I wasn't trying to show you up. I hope you can rub it in my face too.

The thing is that as long as taking marks, punching spoils and tapping hitouts are part of the game, then there will be a place for tall players. Mings attributes suit the current evolution of the game so all he really needs is to become better than the bloke next to him on game day. The rest is down to how we use him.Well at the moment we have no idea what he plays like in afl footy. One thing that I do know is the 6 6 6 rule isn’t helping talls even though yesterday there were some good results
I’m not sure anyone knows if he suits the current game. He has hardly played footy in the tac cup let alone afl. I’m sure when we got paddy we thought he would suit the current game. The thing is that as long as taking marks, punching spoils and tapping hitouts are part of the game, then there will be a place for tall players. Jeebus. Kingy was right!
We should have taken Gresh at 5 cos we nearly missed him.

paddy was never a once in a generation tall forward. i haven't heard anyone describe him like that. people more identified him as a throw back to something from 20 years ago. the paddy selection will go down as the worst pick 1 selection in the history of the modern era.
but king, for once the moons aligned. for once we had luck go our way. we somehow managed to get a guy who would have been a pick 1 lock, just because he did his ACL. yes we've taken the punt, but thank christ we still have the balls to take a punt on him. he was always going to be a work in progress/rehab for the first season. it's no different to say the lever, burton, stringer selections. the reason you select the bloke isn't so he has a ripping first season ala dunstan. it's so he is consistently good through out his career.
200 CM + players who are strong overhead, mobile and are good below their knees will be the new black. Winx ticks all the boxes. Will be a gun given a reasonable run with injury.Ok thanks. At school footy he does. We have to wait and see in afl footy. Also don’t like the idea of 3 marking forwards especially if one is learning the game.200 CM + players who are strong overhead, mobile and are good below their knees will be the new black. Good article!
Indeed. We will see. I'm willing to call it. To quote the song, "I like the way you move! "At school footy he does. We have to wait and see in afl footy. Also don’t like the idea of 3 marking forwards especially if one is learning the game.
No tackles and only 1 pressure act though!!!! Needs to be dropped!Jeremy Cameron a lazy 7 goals and 30 possies
He was my first choice i was near begging for us to take him . In saying that i have faith in Max unlike that other big forward we draftedFMD. Should have taken Rozee!
I don't recall you saying anything about him. It's too late to jump on that bandwagon Risky!!He was my first choice i was near begging for us to take him . In saying that i have faith in Max unlike that other big forward we drafted
