Max kicked 2 and took several contested marks aswell as dishing off a few, Ben got best on ground playing in the backline.

From what I’m hearing. The vfl side is struggling due to a lack of tall forwards. Rowe King Paddy all not playing. Wilkie would of been pencilled in to be a regular had it not been for Roberton.

Yesterday’s result sucked. But I saw a lot I liked. Especially with our leadership to get the game back on our terms. We will need to be better going forward as we lacked runners behind the ball to break lines. So for me, I want to see a Hind get a chance.

Kent and Dunstan can get dropped for mine. Clark I thought did some good things and the pace of the game got him a few times. Acres and Sinclair on a final warning.

Billings and Gresh. When can we realistically talk about them as stars? Like do we need to see this for another 10 weeks for example?

That’s true at the moment but at least he has potential. Paddy may never play again . It was the worst year to have a number 1 pick . Look at last year - no debate about who to chose needed .

Gresham was on his way to elite as a small forward, as a mid he's certainly not been poor. He's very good rather than elite. He will get better but he's not yet up with the best mids. I would back him to become a gun mid though.

We are getting there - Gresham will slowly get the tank required to be the mid we want , however we will have to wait on Hunter , to me he is still to light , Coffield will get there as well but the guys just need the time.
All up though things are looking very good having Clavarino who will be a key back , King as a key forward.
I also expect big things from Bytel but once again he will take a couple seasons.
Meanwhile we still have a good enough squad to squeeze into the 8.
I also see the negative comments on Billings have stopped , the way he is going he will win our fairest and best - he has been outstanding playing on the wing he is giving us some outside run we have been screaming for.

It was Ben playing along side Rankine and Luko in an AFL academy match versus the Norths ressies.

Max played in that game also. He played well and ended up with 2.2

Don’t agree with that assessment at all. Sier is exactly what we should be after but he’s exceptionally happy with the filth. Family all filth supporters... will be re-contracted by mid season.

He’s a developing player who usually kicks whilst clearing the ball from a stoppage.

His skills out in the open are fine. Not elite but still better than our incumbent inside mids

We have a first rounder then nothing until the fourth by which stage you have to get creative. If it's not our first pick then he's a bargain

He's not a small back man or tall forward, he won't be on our radar.
