Neither Hind or Coffield have proven they can play midfield.

If Stuv is to leave that leaves us with a very one paced midfield.

Gresh has already replaced Stuv in the guts

Atm we have pick 14 than pick 67. So we need To get creative and pick up something between on how we do that well I've got nothing..

Not at all. Still a lot of work to do but luckily still a lot of growth left in our group. Coffield, Clark, King, Long, etc. plus whoever we pickup over the next few years should naturally improve if we nail development. I reckon 2021-22 is when we could really hit our straps & make a run for top 4.

Aiden Bonar is one bloke is target early. Can’t get a game for the Giants & has been inconsistent in the neafl so far. Big, quick, versatile. Looks like an Ameet special.

Harmes just signed a contract last year. Taranto signed a longish deal IIRC. Hopper would be a good get.

it also depends on what confidence our recruiters have in the kids coming up.
You don't buy a player on a 5 year contract if you think someone like Coffield will be anywhere close to that player in two years time.
( though we bought kent and not sure why ).

You can if the player you get can play in multiple positions. Using coffield as an example well we would want to see better form to say no to someone who plays in a similar position because there is no guarantee he will make it at the moment

Just out of interest Doug did you suggest I thought pelchen was good because that couldn’t be further from the truth.
