Yeah, they seem so professional, it's hard not to have total faith.
It must be great to be so emotive after an expected loss. Who said total faith. All I said is they know more than us. Having said that there are a few arrogant ones here who actually think they know more. By the way I gather you don’t rate our recruiting last season?

Marlion Pickett (Swan Districts) - 27, 184cm 84kg: from flashy forward to midfield speedster. Averages 18.2 disposals. No questions over his ability.

Jye Bolton (Claremont) - 27, 187cm 84kg: fresh off his 2nd Sandover Medal. Huge ball-winner. Might be a touch too old for any long-term plans.

Luke Meadows (Box Hill) - 24, 185cm 86kg: moved from West Perth straight into the leadership group at Box Hill. Inside bull. Hawks would be all over him.

Any of these 3 suggestions would help us! We'd be crazy to not take up the option of picking up a player with our injury list!
Personally i would prefer Marlion Pickett as he has all the attributes we currrently lack!

And if their are any quirks about his temperament, we should be strong enough to back our own system in, just like we have with Parker!
God knows we need some excitement factor on the list to compliment our blue collar hard working list!

I want the inside Bull, we only have Dunstan and Ross right now.

I think I read Pickett hasnt played yet this year - injured. It would take weeks/months to get his fitness to the required level.

With great respect SS but Ross is as much of an inside bull as Aaron Fiora was!
Agree we could do with some help in that department!

Others...

Jordan Foote (WWT) - 23, 184cm 81kg: former Swan who just couldn’t stay healthy when younger. Good speed and endurance despite suiting an inside role. Rugby league convert.

Kieran Lovell (Kingsborough) - 22 (nearly), 174cm 81kg: former Hawk, once considered the likely successor to Sam Mitchell. Couldn’t crack into the star Hawks midfield. Wins the ball for fun at lower levels.

Oliver Simpson (Northern Knights) - 18, 186cm 70kg: a family friend of mine, so a personal favourite. Not much of him, but huge willingness to chase and tackle, and excellent running patterns and speed. Not a massive ball winner but lovely disposal. Classic wingman.

Angus Hanrahan (Sandringham Dragons) - 19, 183cm 74kg: brother of Hawthorn’s Ollie Hanrahan. Very classy outside type who can play midfield, half forward or half back.

Nash Holmes (North Melbourne) - 21, 183cm 81kg: former Gippsland and Essenscum VFL player. Absolute lunatic in close, genuinely concerned that there’s something homicidal in that there brain of his.

Frank Anderson (Northern Blues) - 21, 185cm 83kg: don’t know anything about him except triggering bro likes him. Despite that negative mark, he’s a two-time EFL Team of the Year player, and was the Vic Metro league skipper at just 20.

I like the sound of Nash Holmes

If we'd taken the suggestions of some of our posters over Trout and Pelican, we'd have much better side than we do. They might have an official job title but that's different from knowing more. It's like a guy who sells stamps compared to a stamp collector. Some guys are just there for the pay, they don't give a ****. The footy nerds on forums probably spend 15 hours a day jerking over stats and watching videos. Pretty sure Trout just hid in case someone realised he wasn't a recruiter.

I would be 100% sure both those situations are 100% wrong. As I said there are arrogant supporters who believe that.

Don’t we potentially have a very good ruck. I know we need reserve ruckman but if he a good player I doubt he wants to be at sandy. I believe Marshall can become one of the best in the comp

Don't mind Kieran Lovell either! Has always been a big ball winner, even at jnr level and was once highly touted
S'pose he's a little small which isn't the flavour of the month these days, personally find that baffling by recruiters
Size has never stopped a good midfielder in the past and guys like Daniel and Lonie are proving it's still the case!

From memory was also a clean user of the footy, but maybe not the quickest?

Haven't you seen enough evidence from the StK FC recruiters over the years to understand that sometimes the perspective from
A dedicated supporter who takes just as keen an interest in it is as worthy as just always rambling back the line
Who are you to think your opinion should be considered, i'm sure our recruiters know best!

They have clearly shown ad nauseam over the years, that they don't!
