I'd be happy to get in B King, obviously depending on trade cost. Truth is, and I have thought this for a few years now, that our best chance of challenging will be when the Billings group hits their peak in 3-4 years.
Aka, Billings, Dunstan, Steele, Acres, Lonie, White, Sincs, Gresh, Marshal, Austin, Kent, Membrey, Dmac, Hind, Young, Marsh, Parker, Wilkie.

Thats 18 players born between 94-96 that should all hit their peak around the same time.
Yes, we need class mids desperately, but Bruce will be gone by then and that leaves us with all of King, Membrey and Mayo as our tall options.

B King to play one more year and be out of contract. Request trade to us, walk him in with a second rounder, harsh on GC but that's life.

At some stage.
I really like the idea from stewart66: Marshall, Winx and Binx.
Rotating.
Two primary talls, one primary ruck: all mobile.
From all reports Binx is your classic swingman: can relief ruck for p66’s 5 minutes per 1/4, and plays tall back or forward.
Theoretically, all playing maximum game time and leaving the interchange for primarily 4 mids.
Also means, if our midfield needs to work hard to support defence and offence then we have the legs to rotate.

It just occurred to me...

We could play them at CHF and FF.

The ace up the sleeve is they could swap jumpers at half time and no one would know.

I reckon we will get a fair i sight to Binx's future plans this weekend. I expect him to kick it to our players at every opportunity.

Problem is if he shows a bit next year they will want 2 x 1st round picks ?

I think they’ll deman that regardless. They need to make a stand on players exiting ect, so their asking price will be big. I think it’ll get ugly.. we won’t pay more than a first

Would love to see them both there, but part of me thinks it might not make a lot of sense outside of him being Max's brother.

He's cost us a first round pick which really need to he used on midfielders.

Don’t disagree at all.. think we’re ultimately invested in him though. Hopefully we get creative. Midfielders have to be the priority.

I want Hanners as captain. He’s the best leader at the club. The ridiculous rumours couldn’t be more wrong. Just need him on the park first though.

Got to assume if we have a new coach next year they will make their own choice. If Richo is coach, it’s probably Gears again.

sounds like a re-hash of the made up sinclair is in a relationship with moore rumour.

Someone sent me an audio clip from some podcast where they were actually discussing the rumour. Not sure what the podcast or source was.

It is actually a whole lot more ridiculous than just Moore and Sinclair being in a relationship.

He's definitely having his best year. I'm not sure he'd be an improvement on Dunstan and Steele though.

Yeah I do to be honest. He really does need to finish the year strongly - but just watch when he does his first post game interview, he’s all class. The media like him which is half the battle.

Cant see him being in the leadership and then going out then being captain. He was demoted for more than fitness. That im 100% sure of.

Probably Sandra sully here, but I know we have been lamenting our i50 kicking all year. I just listened to the ESPN footy pod from a couple of weeks ago and a guy from champ data said the best i50 kick in the league is Tom lynch, ginger variety.
Wouldn't he be handy to have kept around...
