Eddie would just get in the way of some of our young talent. He's been a magnificent player but the end is very near I think.

As nice as a player like Betts would be, i don't think he is the right fit. We have a really nice forward line mix with Linc/Rayner/Charlie and Bundy. Betts is far from past it, he is in a team that is struggling.

If Joe Daniher wants to come out we should 100% put our best offer forward. You don’t get a talent like that often. We get our goals mostly from smalls, but imagine our tall setup of Big O, Hippy and Joe. It would be a two metre nightmare. McStay would come in when Stef retires and both him and Joe would pinch hit.

Best defender goes to Joe, and now Hippy would get off the leash more times throughout the game. It would be unbelievable.

Agree, I'd rather throw that sort of money at an established elite midfielder/winger if we wanted to go down that path eg. Lachie Whitfield/Stephen Coniglio/Marcus Bontmpelli/Zac Williams/Brad Hill/Josh Kelly.

He’s a gun and GWS should move heaven and earth to keep him. Hopefully they run out of cap space and we can try to bring him up to Brisbane.

Free agent in 2020 so this trade period would be the time to move early and try get a deal done. Probably depends on Coniglio as well as Kelly/Whitfield - hard to see where the cap space to match a good offer would be if Coniglio stays.

Completely agree that he should be top of our wishlist.

Any of those would be good gets i reckon. Cockatoo would be the cheapest, given his injuries. Narkle is a beauty, would love to get him.

Totally agree. The only concern is that we would have to give up a 1st round pick for him (which is fair value). I would we be targeting Zac Jones or Branden Ellis type of player via FA and take that 1st round pick to the national draft.
