Ah Chee given his injuries would only be worth our late 2nd rounder, which is at best #35, but probably pushes out to high 30s once the Suns get their priority pick + a few compo picks for whoever this years FAs are.

Suspect we could just do a direct swap with Keays potentially however if we're inclined to let Keays go - he's easily in their best 22 and fit.

That is my position. Player swap, and then whatever minor pick compensation deemed value. Keays must know where his best chance of a career at the top level lies after this season.

Ah Chee would be a great pick up.
22 years of age (Oct this year); 45 games, 24 goals; Forward/Mid with great speed.
Also, if there is a team that can get him consistently on the park, then its definitely us.

Eddie Betts delisted by Adelaide according to Whateley on AFL360 could be a good pick up much in the Luke Hodge mould for our forward line for 2 years

I would take Betts. Yes he nearing the end although he can still do freakish things.
I hope he goes to the Suns if they get him Burgoyne a few other players in will help them
Although with every older player with 1-2 years left a young player gets pushed out..
They started that way with a lot more older players the GWS. not worked well for them

He has next year to improve his strength around his dodgy joints and test it in the NEAFL. No one is displacing Bundy next year imo.

Given how picks flew around last trade period it would be a surprise of any of our current picks we're the currency used for an ah Chee trade. Fwiw I'd be happy with a mid to late 3rd round pick. Of it's a bit higher I wouldn't be complaining too much given our recent track history. At the end of the day it's better to get the guy you want and improve your football side than miss out to gain some subjective trade "win"

Did Elliot look like a match winner at 21?

Put Ah Chee in our side and he might very well become a match winner.

You don't know that. Who's to say that Ah Chee couldn't become one? Elliott will be harder to pry away since he's finally fit after Collingwood invested so much time in his rehab, and they're doing well. It's harder to get players to leave top 4 sides than wooden spoon sides.

You mean the guy that spent chunks of this season in reverses?

I love Bundy's efforts but there's no guarantee an injury or a drop in form doesn't see him back out. He's not one of the first selected.

It's harsh to say on Bundy because he has worked hard to play his rOle but definitely see more elite talent taking over him at some stage if available.

May have already been discussed but could we be interested in Bruce from St kilda?
